Last-minute hotel deals in Oceanside

This place was AMAZING! room was the amazing, bed super comfy. Large window with a fantastic view of the ocean. Easy beach access. Nice extras like Binoculars and flashlight for guests. Noon checkout was lovely for just lounging in the comfortable space. The process to get the room access code was confusing. Mail said it was attached, but really came in a text that wasn't obvious what it was for. The place has ZERO cell service. So when trying to figure out access there was high anxiety...

Check in was a breeze and the staff were efficient and friendly. Cookies on check in were a hit. Swimming pool was clean and inviting.

I finished Reach the Beach (105 mile bike ride), and this was perfect. The manager (owner?) was quite helpful, especially in helping locate dinner for my family while I rested a few minutes. This is a great place to stay if you're not a spa princess or gamer hermit. These rooms aren't built for you luxuriate the day away; they're to make you comfortable when it's time to hit the sack after a long day of playing. The beds and pillows are great, with refreshingly plush towels in the bath.

What a find! Mom and Pop motel on the beach! Super friendly and helpful 'Pop' who kindly shares local best tips. This is not a fancy resort - it is a nice little motel directly on the beach, that is clean and well maintained with thoughtful touches. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay and so much more because of the people who own it. Already made a reservation to come back. Thanks for a lovely long weekend!

Wonderful beach view and easy beach access. The two gas outdoor gas fire pits with comfy Adirondack chairs was a wonderful spot to watch the sun set over the Pacific.

Inside looks a lot better than the outside. Price was great. We got a reservation last minute and didnt know what to expect and we were pleasantly surprised. Short walk down wooden stair to the beach. Little grocery store a half a block away.

Hands down one of the best “glamping” trips ever! We loved staying here and will definitely be back.

The property was very transparent in the fact that they were going through a remodel and alerted me to the amenities that were unavailable. The areas that we had access to were definite upgrades from the finished that I remember from 5 years ago. It's going to be a really nice upgrade once it is finished.

Our suite was very clean with everything you may need. Room was pet friendly and it did not have any unpleasant previous pet smell. Right on beach with balcony on every room. Staff was very friendly, helpful, & efficient. Can't wait to come back.

We were very happy with our stay. The owner is warm and welcoming and gave us plenty of information to help us find our way. Kayaks were included in our hotel cost and we made good use of them on the river right behind the hotel; couldn't be more convenient. We could have spent a lot of time just hanging around by the water, but we wanted to explore the area and this hotel was a great base for us to do that. It was quiet, clean, and met all of our needs. I was traveling alone and this hotel is an older hotel that’s been completely redone in the rooms. They’re spacious they’re clean and the staff was very congenial.

This was absolutely the perfect place to spend a long quiet weekend. I checked in on Friday in the early evening and immediately felt at ease in the beauty of the space and the accommodations. My sweet dog and I walked to the beach every morning and enjoyed the solitude, and I ate at Blackbird twice and enjoyed other local delights! This place is fantastic.
