The decor and amenities were fantastic. They were kind enough to leave earplugs for folks who are sensitive to sound since the marina can get noisy. The only reasons for the discounted rating was the mattresses were very hard, old spring style mattresses, and a leaky shower faucet in a dated restroom. The staff were incredibly attentive and kind and the check in was the SMOOTHEST process ever! Other hotels need to take note! When we first arrived, we were very concerned because there was some slash burning smoke in the air, and I called and spoke to them about my concern. They were very patient. After checking our weather app, we thought we could see where the wind coming off the ocean would blow it out with a few hours. So everything worked out fine. We were impressed with all the attention to detail in the room to try to make it appear, clean and cozy. It also was easy to check in through text by giving us the room number and keypad number to unlock the room. We were able to park right outside our door and did not have to deal with steps, as you would and other motels in the area. If there was a fire…. I would still come back again.
