Last-minute hotel deals in Grindelwald

Excellent boutique hotel in a great area with incredible views. My sister and I stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. All amenities were top notch and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding and the spa was such a treat. The complimentary laundry facilities were so appreciated as we had been travelling for some time before our stay at the Glacier. Overall, I would not hesitate to return.

Hotel Alpenhof if a beautiful, peaceful hotel in Grendelwald. We had a suite on the top floor with a balcony and a sweeping view of the mountains and green hillsides. The room was spacious and clean, with an handy minibar in case you want to have a beer on the nice deck, and tastefully decorated in Swiss style. This is an amazing hotel perfectly situated directly across from Grindelwald First. When I say directly across, I mean you can be at Grindelwald First in less than 5 mins. Less than that if you can walk a slight incline quickly. You are also perfectly situated by the shops and restaurants! The hotel is beautiful! The upgraded rooms are amazing and the amenities are to die for. I had a single upgraded room that had a balcony facing the Wetterhorn. I would enjoy my coffee on the balcony each...

It was one of the most beautiful places in the area. The staff ere extremely nice and helpful. Very convenient, close to the train and bus stations. Highly recommended

Excellent hotel Diego was most helpful with late check in and then a wonderful staff and breakfast. Wish we could stay longer but will be back again soon for sure.

Charming facility at first stop of gondola which made for a fun ride and intro to Grindelwald. Trotti bikes were a blast and charged with the fear of a major wipeout at any moment. :-) The food at Berghaus was wonderful ... We had both breakfast and dinner plans. The bathroom down the hall was a surprise as I didn't read the details but it was never a problem as our family had our own dedicated bathroom. The hikes in the local area were fabulous for us ... Half day fun with a nice lunch...

Now, I’m going to be honest. The rooms are not updated or fancy…more like a holiday inn….but the staff more than makes up for the simple/old rooms. Every single person was so nice, kind, and helpful. Georgia was especially helpful to us! We appreciated her advice! The outdoor deck was beautiful, and the restaurant was fantastic! Also, the location could not be better with amazing views.

I’ve provided many reviews in the past as a simple courtesy, but I am obliged to submit this review based on yet another memorable stay at the Aspen. This was my third stay and the experience continues to be a 4+/5 star feel. My very well-appointed 3rd floor, corner suite had such excellent views of the surroundings, I ordered room service each night. Hotel was great and location was perfect!

This was one of the best hotel and travel experiences ever! Food at hotel was incredible, gorgeous views, friendly staff, just fabulous.

During my time in Switzerland I stayed in 4 different hotels and my time at Hotel Spinne was the best! My view of the Eiger mountain was stunning, the infinity pool was a dream, the restaurant on site had delicious pizza and the staff went above and beyond. I accidentally left an item behind and Zuzana and the rest of the staff were able to securely get it back to me. I’m grateful for the experience and will certainly be back.

We enjoyed many aspects of our stay, but our first room had a very strong urine odor. Most likely a pet from a previous stay had urinated on the carpet. When we brought this to the attention of the staff, the housekeeping manager came to inspect the room but said she could not detect the smell. The hotel did respond by arranging for the carpet to be cleaned and shampooed, so we stayed in the room that night. So I stayed two nights in one of the apartment rooms which are in a separate building behind the main hotel. (Listed on Expedia as: Standard Apartment with Gallery, Balcony (Chalet)). My top floor room had a kitchen, living room, huge bathroom, a balcony and loft bedroom. I loved every minute of my stay. The hotel provides cooking equipment upon request - although just remember that there are no cooking supplies (like spices or condiments) so if you're going to cook, you'll need to buy...

I stayed at the Tschuggen hotel with my wife for 2 nights. The location was right in the heart of Grindelwald; very close to the main train station and the gondola to First. There are many restaurants and a grocery store nearby. The owners arrange a wonderful breakfast for the guests every morning. Our room had a great view of the mountains behind the hotel.
