We traveled all day from Michigan to St. John and were pleasantly surprised to find a complimentary rum punch waiting for us . Impeccable accommodations in paradise. Stunning views. So clean, peaceful, safe, and comfortable -- and only a short walk from all the action. Cabs to beaches are easy to get. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. All the perks of staying at a hotel with a villa feel. Plus great sunset views from the pool.

The hotel was great. Shuttles were quick to get to your room. We barely left the resort because they had everything available there. Plus the grocery store was only a 5 minute walk if that from the resort. Shuttle and staff members got to know our names. We had the same staff member for dinner every night. We would definitely recommend the gatehouse and are definitely coming back! We were here on ourhoneymoon (1st time to the island) and we had an amazing experience overall! This was a wonderful property! It is definitely an older hotel- but that is the charm! The new owners are clearly taking loving care of it. In that district, everything is older, and it is very well maintained and clean. It is in a PERFECT location to talk to some great places to eat, shop, or get coffee. Secret Harbour will be our go-to for our much needed getaways from life! Everything was perfect. Even the groceries we arranged for delivery were put away before our arrival and drinks were put in the fridge for us. That said a lot! The beach was pristine and the snorkeling was just breathtaking. The resorts beach hosted many beautiful reefs which had tons of beautiful fish. The best was the huge angel fish which was always in the same little cove. Just amazing. The scenery was spectacular....

My wife,daughter and I stayed for a week at Two Sandals and can say it was wonderful. The owners took great care of us. Breakfast on the verenda looking down into Redhook was lovely with home made treats that were tasty. Walk down to Redhook was a mere 10 minutes as it was to the beach. Internet WIFI was very adequate and included. We absolutely would stay there again and recommend it to anyone.

The property is beautiful, relaxing and secluded. You cannot walk anywhere from this property and that is a small inconvenience. Cab ride is $20 for two people to downtown each way. The food at the property is just ok, so go downtown to eat. The majority of the staff is great with the exception of a few restaurant workers. Bring small bills for tips, they don’t make change on the property. Overall we had a great time and got what we came for. We will absolutely go back!

Comfortable and beautiful area

Absolutely GORGEOUS property! The plants, trees, and vegetation throughout the property are a sight to be seen. The distance to the beach is perfect and love the two bars and restaurants located close by as they do not offer on demand room service. Pro tip is that you need to rent a car in order to stay here unless you want to only be at this property and not leave. The guesthouse was quite a pleasant stay. The new host Lee was very welcoming and helpful. My room was clean upon arrival, and the property was beautiful to explore n relax, and breakfast was served to order in the mornings. The staff and other guests were very nice, like long time neighbors ir friends. I will definitely be utilizing Island View again in the future.

OMG.. where do I start... There's probably not a better place on the island that this hotel could be situated. All the units have incredible views of the bay. The rooms are beautiful and well appointed. Marriott has incredible attention to detail. The service staff was always helpful and friendly. I have never seen better landscaping and perfect placement of trees... If I was to travel back to somewhere .. This would definitely be one of those places..
