Nice big rooms

Our first visit to Homewood Inn and the layout of the room was great. Lobby was fully stocked and staff friendly and helpful.

This is our second time at this hotel. We found it by chance last year on a road trip and sought it out again this year on a road trip to look at California colleges. Hotel Mac is a historical hotel with so much charm and character. It is so refreshing to avoid chain hotels and find gems like this. New clean property. Just a few feet away from bart and other shipping centers. Pretty safe area police patrol all the time. There's a police station next down the block. Keep that in mind.

I met a client for dinner. After dinner, I went to the hotel to check in. The man at the front desk was nice and friendly. He gave me a great room. Thank you.

Wonderful place to stay. Would stay there again. Everyone was very nice.

Super Clean, New interior carpet and finishes, Great Shower, Large Screen TV, couch in the King Bed room. Only issue for me is a Very Firm Bed. Also feel like they should automatically provide more than 2 towels.

A very nicely managed hotel! Our room was lovely and the front desk staff along with all of the valets were excellent. Hats off to the housekeeping staff and the maintenance staff who were very efficient. We were long time members of the gym when we lived in CA so we booked the hotel just to work out there again. We had no idea the hotel was such a treat. I balked at a $25 p/day parking fee but the valets were all so friendly that it made it worth it. We will be back!

Great place for visiting relatives. Very clean, modern, nice breakfast, spacious rooms.

Nice place with great facilities. Be aware of the $35/day charge for valet parking. There's nowhere else to park in this area.

Great access to local shops

I stayed here when transferring over night from the west bound California Zephry to the south bound San Jaoquin through the Central Valley It's a two mile walk down Alhambra Street. Martinez is a very nice community and the Muir Lodge is no frills place with modern amenities and a great price, perfect for my purposes. It's right on Alhambra so there is traffic noise. Next time I will ask for a room further from the street.

Our stay was pleasant from the moment of checking in with Greg at the desk, to the time we left. The breakfast ladies were very friendly, and the staff who cleaned the rooms were very attentive and cooperative. One thing that I deeply appreciated was the availability of the luggage cart. When you get older this is a must!

I loved that it was so clean and so close to downtown. It also felt very safe since I was traveling alone.
