Great for work trip. Easy to find restaurants

Our stay was very relaxing and enjoyable. Lobby was fresh and clean, elevators were clean. Our room was on the 5th floor overlooking water street and the river which was a nice view. Room was very clean. Breakfast area was well filled and maintained. Free, secure parking was very nice. I would stay here again should I find myself in Pittsburgh again.

This is a comfortable hotel with large rooms. The staff was helpful, and check in was smooth. There is not much to walk to in the area, but there is a very nice on site restaurant and bar. I'd stay here again!

My daughter & I stayed here for a night while visiting my son, who is college nearby. The room, and hotel, are recently remodeled. Everything was very clean, the mattresses were very comfortable (sometimes hotel mattresses are a bit lumpy). We will definitely stay there again.

Hotel very clean, staff so friendly and helpful! Stayed a week while my wife was in hospital. Bed so comfortable and breakfast was great!

A beautiful gem! This historic mansion turned boutique hotel is adorable. The original stained glass and carved wood grand staircase are breath taking. Keep in mind this is a 19th Century home, so the floors are creaky and the walls are thin, but there aren't that many rooms so it's not super busy. My only negative comment would be the ability for the room to cool down. It was a little stuffy and in our room the vent really only cooled the sitting area and not where our bed was located. Make a Hospital rate. I was in hospitality all my like and we always had a hospital rate if we were near a hospital.

There is not one negative thing about our stay. Every staff member was friendly and accommodating. The worse part is having to leave. Fresh coffee till late evening was a bonus. The pool was clean outside grounds were kept up even through all the storms we had. We have stayed at this location many times and have never been disappointed

We needed a place to stay that was close to the Pittsburgh paints arena. It was within walking distance and easy to get to from the hotel.

We stayed for four nights as a family of five. This small hotel was incredibly warm and inviting, and the hosts, Paul and Mary Beth were wonderfully accommodating and kind throughout our stay. The location was perfect for short drives (15 minutes tops!) to everything we wanted to see, plus it was walking distance to great food and shops on the Southside. Easy to find and free parking. We had connecting rooms that were both clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was an added bonus with good food and lots of choices.
