"We had an amazing time here. Super private and quiet! Epic views! We loved seeing the seals , the kayaking and dinners outside overlooking the Sooke Bay. We also love all the walks/ hikes close by , including the galloping goose trail. The cabin has everything you need and more. Looking forward to coming back. "We had a great stay! Everyone had somewhere comfy to sleep. It was close to town for food and groceries, Ed McGregor Park and the Wiffin Spit. A close drive to the Sooke Potholes as well."

"It was chilly and rainy when we arrived, Walter welcomed us with hot, home-made soup! He was readily available to answer questions. He even invited us to home-cooked breakfast one morning and it was beyond restaurant quality. The property felt cozy and private. We enjoyed the hot tub as well as observing visitors at the hummingbird feeder. Bus stop right by the driveway is a bonus! We will stay here again, without question :)"

"We stayed here for our honeymoon and it could not have been a better place for us to spend our first week as a married couple. The view is gorgeous. It’s very private and there was nobody around us. It was cozy within a fun little town. There was a grocery store just up the road so we bought our own food and cooked in a few nights. They had all of the essential kitchen appliances. It’s about a 30 minute drive to Victoria and there isn’t a ton to do directly in Sooke so you definitely need a car...

"Great hosts for this lovely rustic and cozy cabin in the trees. It’s a short drive into Ganges where there are lots of interesting shops and restaurants to explore. We were here for two nights and will stay longer next time."

"Very cozy with throws, lovely ocean furnishings. Well supplied with towels, amenities for BR, kitchen. Owner was quick to reply to questions, requests. Good communication. Upgraded suite when mechanical problem to shower occurred. Enjoyed our stay very much!"

"Super disappointed that there was no coffee machine in my unit. One does not expect to have to travel with coffee beans, in order to use a grinder to use a French Press! The window in the entrance door is missing its blind or curtain? This looks directly into the bedroom and entrance to the bathroom. Also no dish cloths. I was given the access code to the supply room but there was nothing there that helped."

"Great location and space. Great amenities and the suite was well stocked with necessities. The only comment I have is that instructions for hot tub need to be more specific about the chemicals that need to be added."
