Convenient to New York ThruwayPosted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: It was clean enough and convenient to convenience store, gas stations (2), McDonalds and Dunkin Donuts.
Cons: Better organization of desk clerks.
Location: It is across the street from the Boxing Hall of Fame, and near to the Erie Canal Path. There are many parks with beautiful trails and views.
Mostly the experience was good. But we requested a first floor room close to the door. Not only were we given a room farthest from the door but it was on the second floor! We had spoken to the desk clerk again a few days before our date of stay to confirm these requests. It was resolved by a very kind fellow hotel visitor who switched their first floor room for out second floor room. I am not sure what the clerk would have done to help us out without this very considerate person. Also we were locked out of our room the second day due to the clerk forgetting to program our electronic key for the second night. Very inconvenient.

Conventient for visiting Canastota, N.Y.Posted Jun 26, 2014
Pros: Rooms were adquate for what you pay.
Cons: Cleaniness of hall carpets. Wireless pathetic.
I had the misfortune of spending 6 nights at this facility. Though friendly, the staff were unable to print me a final bill upon check out, stating "the internet is down". She said she would email me a copy when "internet came up". She never did. Halls are dingy, poorly lighted, dirty-reminescient of a flop house. Looking out my window one evening, I had the pleasure of watching a group of men drinking beer and urinating in the parking lot. Nice. Never again will I stay at a "Quality Inn".

Simply affordablePosted May 30, 2014
The room was clean and kept fresh. Breakfast is terrible but there is a Dunkin donut literally across the Parking lot so that's ok.

nearest hotel to the eventPosted May 14, 2014
Location: It was the closest to the event we attended. We had to travel 40 miles. Not as close as I had intended. But it was ok.
I wasn't able to get a hotel in Syracuse because of another larger event that weekend. But for what we were doing, it was ok. I wasn't impressed that simple things like ice machine was only on the 1st floor. I did like that fact that excessory doors were locked. I couldn't figure out how the room key worked as that was different from what I was use to. The staff was very friendly and courteous.

Okay place to stay.Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: Pleasant clerk, well-functioning heater, nice vanity counter, cleanliness, price, convenience.
Cons: Replace the clock/radio, mattress and pillows. Wipe down all bathroom surfaces (dust not appealing). Add folder of helpful info.
Location: Right off the Thruway. Don't know much about the area, but I believe it is historic. I wasn't able to spend much time in this location.
The clerk was very accommodating and helpful at check-in and when I had trouble with my key card the second time I used it. The room seemed pretty clean, although the bathroom could have used a wipedown of the outside of the tub. The TV worked fine, but the clock/radio was nonfunctioning, even the clock. Attractive vanity counter, which was located outside of the bathroom. Disappointed with the saggy mattress and lumpy pillows, although after noise from quite a few late-arriving guests after 1:00 a.m. (Friday evening/Saturday morning) finally abated, I was able to sleep well. Room seemed smaller than online photo indicated. No list of local restaurants or other helpful information was in my room (although clerk would have likely been helpful.) Heater worked well and accurately. For the price and convenience (right off theThruway), I would stay here again, if needed.

Nice hotel close to Turning Stone Casino.Posted Jan 2, 2014
Pros: Convenience to Turning Stone Casino and close to the New York State Thruway. There was a Dunkin' Donuts and McDonalds within a short walk.
Cons: The breakfast buffet could include some fresh items.
Location: Turning Stone Casino and the Boxing Hall of Fame.
The accommodations were nice, staff was very nice, and it was close to Turning Stone Casino for New Years Eve. The hotel seemed a little older but suitable for what we needed it for. There was a dirty towel that was left in the bathroom from the previous resident and the room could have been a little cleaner. Maybe a good vacuum would have helped. The breakfast was nothing to write home about. There was packaged breakfast items such as donuts, sweet rolls, bagels, but a good juice machine. There was also a select choice of cereal in larger containers. I was looking for the waffle maker or some fresh food since this facility is a part of the fabulous Wyndham group.
