Nice hotel great distance from Chicago

Pros: this hotel is a small one so there are not very many room which in turns means not alot of people parking is right there also
Location: 10 miles from downtown Chicago a little off highway but worth it! Shopping centers golf course and a beautiful park close by
Hotel staff was very friendly the rooms were clean very satisfied with our stay it is 10 miles north of Chicago so traveling in and out of the city was great not alot of traffic! The town the hotel is in is a nice quiet area. very nice family restaurants within walking distance with great food. Experience was awesome here and I will definately be back!!

Closer to Work

We booked this hotel two weekends in a row for one night because it was closer to work rather then heading back to the city. The first weekend was alright, we stayed in a room on the first floor in the front of the building. There were a few issues such as the refrigerator did not work, the bathroom smelled like mildew, and our sheets were dirty and they did not have anyone to replace them. The second weekend we stayed, we were given a non-smoking room. When we walked into the room, the bed looked as if someone had just gotten out of it. When asked to switch rooms they walked over to ask if we wanted them to change the linen (which they could not because housekeeping went home for the day) or switch rooms. We vouched to switch rooms. Once rooms were switched we were put in a room with no microwave and later told that none of the rooms have microwaves only the suites which was a lie because our room the week before had a microwave. We asked to move rooms again and after feeding us with so many different stories about the rooms don't have microwaves, how they are not allowed to switch rooms, or change linen we settled for another room that was not in the best shape but we dealt with after an hour and a half of switching numerous rooms. Lastly, the televisions did not work, only certain channels worked on certain tvs in each room.

Disappointing

Pros: They included breakfast.
Cons: Make sure things are in working order and are clean.
Location: Was a pretty convenient location to where we needed to go.
We were disappointed with our recent stay. Feel like we didn't get much for what we paid. The room was small and cramped feeling. The bedspread was in poor condition. Curtains falling down, lamp didn't work. Shower curtain was gross. We will not be staying there again.

Decent basic hotel

We had a very good stay. We were visiting family, and just needed a place to sleep at night that allowed pets (a dog). This is a very basic hotel, but it was clean, had great coffee, and had very polite and accommodating management. Pet friendly, with a residential neighborhood behind it, so there was plenty of safe space to walk the dog. Breakfast (included) was just fine- they have a pancake machine and generous amounts of bacon and sausage, which the kids loved. I would recommend if you need basic accommodations at an affordable rate.

The staff made this visit excellent. They were exceptionally accommodating. I was spending the weekend watching my son while my wife attended a conference and they were able to help with all of our crazy needs.

Unexpectedly surprised!

Tracy at our check in couldn't have been more helpful! She made sure we had everything that we needed and let us know all our available options. Breakfast was great. Everything was clean. Room was wonderful I didn't expect it to be that nice. My husband and I spent our 10th anniversary there and it was amazing. We will be back.
