Clean and decently Hotel just outside St. LouisPosted Feb 17, 2015
Cons: It had an older hotel smell. There maybe smoking rooms in a different area of the hotel. But it was not unclean, the staff at keeping the rooms tidy.
Location: It is 10 minutes from Kingshighway, the Hill, and forest park.20 minutes from Soulard and downtown.
It was a very nice hotel and the staff was very helpful. I enjoyed that it was only 20 minutes from South City St. Louis, but a fraction of the cost of the hotels in downtown or the forest park area.

Room is OKPosted Feb 16, 2015
Pros: Price was good.
Cons: Make the hotel totally non-smoking
Location: On the way through St. Louis, so good place to stop if you're passing through.
The one negative was that as we walked down the hallway, we could smell cigarette smoke. Our room was fine, but we walked to the end of the building, down the stairs, walked through another floor, to avoid it.

very nice hotel !!Posted Feb 11, 2015
Pros: very clean and the bathroom was very nice!
Cons: more king size beds.
Location: close to St Louis but far enough to be less expence
It would have been nice to have had a king size bed instead of a queen, but other than that it was great!

Good night sleep.Posted Feb 3, 2015
Pros: The bed was comfortable and the location was near our destination.
Cons: The entrance to the hotel was a little tricky to find if arriving after dark.
Location: Very close to shopping and a short drive to St. Louis attractions.
The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Breakfast was fair...not what you would expect from this chain property but the coffee was good and hot and we found enough variety to satisfy us.

Always comfortablePosted Jan 27, 2015
Pros: Staff is always very nice. Clean all around
Cons: I just wish that housekeeping would spray the room with air freshener. Sometimes the smell of stale tobacco is aweful.
Location: An awesome Bar and Grill is very close (less than a mile). Fenton is just minutes away from downtown
I love the location and the choices of restaurants available, without having to drive for miles. This time of having a smoking room, the smell of tobacco wasn't as strong as some other times. I've told friends to use this location.

Second stayPosted Jan 23, 2015
Hotel location and room are pleasing. Unfortunately, during my second stay, the front desk staff was rather rude. That was really the only thing that went wrong this time. Great barbecue place right next door that you can walk to, and a Denny's on the other side that you can also walk to.

My new go to hotelPosted Dec 27, 2014
Pros: The front desk staff is very nice. The rooms are always clean. The variety of pillows on the bed
Cons: Really needs more than 2 HBO channels. HBO doesn't always have the best movies. The chairs are comfy, but need to be recovered or replaced.
Location: The hotel sits right off the exit ramps of Hwy 44. There is plenty of restaurants to choose from, including a bar & grill.
I always get the smoking King room. The bed is always comfortable, clean sheets (no spots/stains). The variety of pillows on the bed. My partner and I always fight over the feather type ones. The staff at the front desk are always very nice and helpful. This last time I made reservations, I found only non-smoking rooms. I went ahead and booked one, but when I got to the hotel, I asked if there were any smoking rooms available. The desk clerk found me one. She told me which room it was, then I asked of there was one that faced the parking lot (I explained why I needed a room with a view of the lot) and the clerk found a room for me. You can't ask for much better service than that.

Husband's surgeryPosted Dec 18, 2014
Nice room, comfy beds and didn't care for the entry to this place. Had to drive around the block to get back in the parking lot after eating. Overall it is a nice place to lay your head down for rest.

very comfortablePosted Dec 10, 2014
Pros: see above comments
Cons: front desk workers need to know how to get around town.
Location: Riverchase recreation is less than a mile away, for indoor swimming for the colder months. Downtown St Louis is just about 15 minutes away.
It's not every hotel you go to and have feather pillows. Most of the time I always drag along one of my own, but here I don't have to. The rooms are always spotless when I visit/stay. The girls at the front desk are very nice. Sometimes they are not very imformative on giving directions how to get around town, for the people who are trying find something. I've been lucky to be at the front desk to help another with directions. I stay at this location, because it's close to everything, but far enough away for a one night vacation.
