After booking, I received an email stating that the breakfast buffet and pool are closed due to COVID-19. That was not explicitly stated on the Sonesta Suites website at the time that I booked. Now a disclaimer has been added on the site to notify patrons of those being unavailable. Other surrounding hotels DO have breakfast buffets open by having an attendant serve the breakfast. It was not worth the hassle of canceling and booking elsewhere. Check-in was quick and easy. We checked in around 3:00p.m. to drop our luggage off and left quickly. When we returned around 9:30p.m. there was no parking near our room. The parking lots are narrow and small and the parking spaces are also small. After giving my son a bath, I discovered the bath towels were wet. There were two towels in the room and both were fairly wet. I pray that they were just hastily folded up before they were dried well in the dryer. We called the front desk to have someone bring us a couple dry towels but the front desk clerk said he cannot leave the desk so we would have to come get them. We also discovered that we did not have any shampoo, conditioner, or shower gel in the dispensers. The next day we asked the staff to fill them and they did so immediately. We used the kitchen to make meals and it is well supplied to prepare meals. Overall, I am satisfied with the value of our stay. The room and property are very clean.
