The rooms were exactly as advertised. However, when we checked in we were disappointed to find out that the pool had not been opened at all. This was not clearly communicated. Although it was indicated on the hotel website it was very difficult to locate. We were traveling with two small children and having a pool was one of the things we deemed necessary for our vacation. It was very disappointing not to be able to use the pool. During our stay, the hot water heater was replaced in our unit. We got very little notice about this work, and the fact that we had no hot water for two days of our stay. When we requested updates, the front desk was almost rude and not accommodating. One night of our stay we had to give the children lukewarm baths after a hot day and the next night they got no baths because there was no hot water. We complained and were told that management would reach out. They never actually connected with us to make this right. They did offer to move us to another room, but with two small children, that would have been very inconvenient. Also our downstairs neighbors called the front desk to complain about the noise from our unit. Every night, everyone in our unit was asleep by 8:30. So any noise we made was between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm. This fell well within the hotel’s advertised “quiet hours”. All in all this experience and this property had its up and downs. I would not choose to stay here again in the future.

I liked the set up of the suite with 2 different rooms which was great for travel with family. 1st night in was very cozy, quiet and clean. The beds were comfortable and the best pillows I’ve had in a hotel. The only complaint was that there was only decaf coffee in the room. We were very pleased with our stay. The next time we stayed was 4 days later in a different room. It smelled heavily of weed. The coffee pot was dirty, there was a note that all dishes were cleaned for us and when we pulled mugs out of the dishwasher they were dirty. The upstairs had several drops of blood on the carpet in front of the sink, which I reported to management. There were 4 pillows on the bed and one of the pillowcases was dirty and looked like it had dried blood on it. I would stay here again if I were to base my stay on the first room we stayed in. The second room we stayed in scared me because of the lack of cleanliness especially during a pandemic. Also I would like to point out that when you give them your credit/debit card at check in, they immediately put a hefty deposit on your card on top of the room. There are signs in the hotel, but if you didn’t plan on it, that could really cause a traveler some issues. They told me that it would be released back to my card at check out, but it’s up to the bank how long it takes to be refunded. I’m still waiting and I checked out 2 days ago so just FYI.
