I had a late flight, so it was great to have a shuttle service available to take me to the hotel. The check-in was seamless and the room clean and comfortable.
The only challenge was at the airport. I knew I was flying in late, so had called earlier in the day to make sure it wouldn't be a problem. I was assured the shuttle service would still be running and someone would be at the desk. I was told to simply go to a courtesy phone by the baggage claim and call when I was ready. I asked if I should call the same number and was told yes. That number was the full regular phone number of the hotel, and when I tried that on the courtesy phone it didn't work. I then realized I needed a two-digit code which I didn't have. There was only one hotel listed and it was not the Pear Tree Inn. If that's the number to use for all hotels there was nothing indicating that. I am in from Europe and my cell phone has no roaming. Fortunately a young woman was my Good Samaritan and called the hotel for me. So in the end it worked out, but there should be a way to communicate this better, Other than that, it was a pleasant stay. Thank you!
