"Nice modern property, good valet parking which made it easy to access by car which is not always easy in Lisbon. Staff attentive, room spacious however there were a number of little things that could be better. I found the fact the bathroom is basically in the bedroom with glass walls a bit odd, the electrical blinds seemed cool but didn’t always work which was annoying, they wouldn’t give me a locker in the spa said I should go back to my room to change! If they get the little things right...

"Well located. Great buffet breakfast. We had room service for dinner and ordered a bottle of house wine which ended up being more expensive than the “a la carte” one. We paid 25eur and saw the same bottle at duty free the next day for 8eur. Kind of a ripoff."

We had meant to be 3 travelling but were only 2 in the end and had the 'Family' room option. "Fantastic service, rooms missing some small touches. It is definitely a unique property with lots of history. The rooms in the main building are very ornate and cool. The food service for breakfast and in the bar for dinner were really good. Every person that served us was well trained, happy we were there and were on their game. Some of the rooms had no balcony and were dated. While trying to match the feeling of the palace they missed the mark a little. Only one usb charging outlet. ...
