"Fantastic location, great room"
Have now stayed in this plaza twice and would recommend it each time. Very lucky to get a free upgrade to the studio room. Pool was lovely. Cannot wait to stay again! Would certainly consider bringing the children next time, maybe! Facilities were too notch and overall comfort fab.

"Beautifully designed hotel"
A beautifully designed hotel, a 5 star, making the things not right a bigger deal. The rooms are set apart from the main lobby requiring card scanning, which seemed to get uncoded every single day due to proximity to my iPhone, making for a bit of schlep to go back down the elevator, across to the main lobby to get replacement keys on a daily basis.

"Comfortable hotel with a great location"
We love to take in as many shows as possible so this hotel is a short walk to most West End theaters plus it is halfway between Charring Cross and Embankment stations so you can get on pretty much any line in a jiff. The room is very comfortable with a small kitchenette. Not huge, but more than sufficient. The bed had a single mattress - none of this "two twins pushed together" nonsense.

"Great trendy hotel in a fun area"
The Ace Hotel Shoreditch is unlike any other quality hotel I've stayed in. It's my first stay in an Ace and as soon as you walk in the lobby you can tell what sets this place apart. It's not your typical 5 star hotel: the staff isnt dressed in suits, the lobby is packed on the weekends at night with trendy crowds getting drinks/ hanging out and the rooms have the kind of decor that you would expect in a loft. Shoreditch is a great place if you're young and looking to have some very fun nights out and the Ace is the best place to stay in the area. The staff was very helpful and I had a great meal at the in house restaurant. This hotel has great character and I won't hesitate to come back when I'm in London again. Highly recommended.

From slot machines to table games, try out your poker face at Grosvenor Victoria Casino or the Casino at the Empire. Playgrounds in London

Between introducing your children to London’s history and attending theatre performances, allow your youngsters to let loose at one of the many playgrounds in London. Experience the royalty of all playgrounds with a visit to Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Playground, Hyde Park, where your kiddos can climb upon a life-size pirate ship and explore teepees for an adventure unlike any other. Meanwhile, Coram’s Fields, Holborn, features an impressive seven-acre kid-friendly fortress with everything from sports fields and playgrounds to even a café and a farm with goats.

Travel around Europe on a budget

While a Euro trip can cost you a pretty penny, if you only have a few pennies to spare, there are savvy ways of traveling around Europe on a budget. Booking flights during the early morning or late at night during midweek is one major way to save some cash, while Megabus and Eurolines provide cheap ground transportation options. What’s more, cruises offer an affordable way of traveling from one port to the next, as room, board, and food are all conveniently included in the ticket price.

    London pubs with kids

Contrary to the bars of the United States, you’ll find countless kid-friendly pubs in London. These establishments provide the perfect place for an affordable meal, domestic brews, and the opportunity to sample the local cuisine. Skip the rowdy, crowded bar scene, and instead choose the quieter joints for an early dinner with the kiddos. Start your kid-approved pub crawl in Nicholson’s chain of pubs and venture out from there.

    London boutique hotels with kids

Just because you’re gallivanting in London with the kids in tow, doesn’t mean you need to forgo the personality and luxury of a boutique hotel. In fact, there are various kid-welcoming London boutique hotels with amenities to accommodate the entire family. The Metropolitan London provides spacious connecting rooms and gifts for the children upon arrival, while The Zetter Hotel boasts big personality and suite options. As for The Amperstand Hotel, it pays close attention to the finer details while offering easy access to the Natural History Museum and Kensington Gardens for adventures with the youngsters.

    Culture in London

However captivating and alluring the London culture may be, it is perhaps sometimes first misunderstood by travelers. So before gallivanting in London, brush up on your street style and expect the local’s mocking sense of humor. Skip the culture shock, prep your taste buds for Sunday Roast, forgot about chilled brews, and embrace the dignified lifestyle to fully indulge in the London scene.

    Exploring Britain heritage at Stonehenge

Exploring Britain’s heritage at Stonehenge belongs at the top of everyone’s bucket list. Regarded as one of the Seven Wonders of the World, this massive and mystical rock formation presents a compelling history and purpose. Though many details surrounding the henge still remain a mystery, take the opportunity to explore the totems and learn what is known of their history on your next London trip.

    The heritage of Cambridge

While Cambridge is commonly associated with the University of Cambridge, this city in the countryside offers far more than educated pupils and philosophy classes. In fact, upon visiting this city located on the river Cam, you’ll find the heritage of Cambridge masterfully combines modern art, fashion, and gastronomy. Cambridge manages to bridge the gap between ancient times and modern day while presenting a charming attraction just outside of London.

    More than lakes

Great Britain’s Lake District surprisingly offers more than lakes, as it is also home to five of the tallest mountains in England, multiple nature reserves, and countless quaint and cozy towns filled with literary charm. Grasmere, for example, presents Dove Cottage, the former home of Williams Wordsmith, and the famous Sarah Nelson’s gingerbread. Meanwhile Ambleside features the home where author Beatrix Potter gathered inspiration for her beloved stories, such as “The Tale of Peter Rabbit.”

Samuel Johnson once said that to be tired of London is to be tired of life. We think that the concept holds true for hotels in London; after all, in this marvelous capital of England, the best places to stay are microcosms of the city itself. Chic guest houses populate the most stylish neighborhoods, glamorous resorts channel the regional elegance, and family-friendly inns offer a peek at the country’s famous hospitality. When you book rooms at a London hotel, you’re not merely ticking an item off of your traveling to-do list; you’re creating a basis for the most unforgettable London vacations.

Of course, every traveler is different. While you may want to make reservations at the most luxurious hotel London has to offer, your best friend might prefer to score a few deals and discount rates on a quieter, more unassuming spot. That’s no problem; thanks to the city’s wealth of options — and seriously incredible on-site amenities — you’ll always find something that feels tailored to your personal style. Try one of the highly rated resorts in London for an array of just-for-you perks, or head to a boutique inn for a more hushed sort of charm. Planning to divide your time between relaxing in the room and hitting all the sights? Check out the bevy of centrally located London hotels. Not only will you have access to a carefully curated selection of perks, but you’ll also be in the top location for exploring the seemingly endless list of things to do in London.

Plus, the inexpensive hotels London offers give you a little more wiggle room in your traveling budget, so you can pile on extras like rental cars and flights to London without paying extra-high prices. You can even hit the high seas with a few cruises from London after you check out of your resort. Talk about a dream vacation.
