An excellent B&B that truly lives up to its perfect 5/5 rating! The hosts, Matt and Bev, are very friendly and attentive. Our room was spacious, comfortable and perfectly clean. The location, beautiful and quiet, yet close to public transportation, with multiple options to get to the center. Excellent bus/train connection to London Victoria, total travel time approx. 45 min. The owner of the B&B is very helpful. The only item that could be improved: Breakfast variety was small. We had a lovely big room with an ensuite, which had a lovely powerful shower. The room was warm and inviting and tea/coffee making facilities were provided. Also provided was 2 bottles of water and biscuits which was a lovely addition. A hairdryer was provided and extra pillows if needed. The bed was so comfortable with the softest pillows, that i didn't want to get out of bed! Plenty of parking available with 2 spaces provided in the hotel grounds and free parking available on the street outside. The cold breakfast consisted of a choice of cereal, toast, fruit, yoghurt, fruit juice, tea and coffee. Matt and Bev were lovely hosts and were so welcoming. The transportation to and from East Croydon station was fairly convenient but did need a little extra time to get into the city. Matt who was the host was exceptionally helpful, kind and personable. They were gracious to allow us to check in early which is a huge blessing after an international trip. The hot cooked breakfast, to order, was an amazing treat and fun to get local perspective on history and culture.
