Wonderful staffPosted Nov 17, 2013
Pros: The hotel was what we expected after staying at Homewood suites before. That is clean, decent breakfast, etc. But what made this stay extra special wa
Cons: Nothing really.
Location: Salem! As if that is not enough there is a lot of shopping and restaurants closeby.

Nice weekend stayPosted Oct 2, 2013
Pros: The hotel was well kept, bright and clean.
Location: This hotel was close to the highway and so it was easy to visit the North Shore.
We booked this hotel for a homecoming weekend. It was a lovely hotel with very pleasant staff, they were willing to answer questions and provide assistance with anything, including getting some milk for us. I never quite figured out how to regulate the temperature in our room, but I never asked either. I would stay here again. There was a Sonic right next door which was nice for late night snacks!

20 minutes from BostonPosted Sep 21, 2013
Pros: The gym , kitchenette, friendly staff.
Location: Make a beeline for Boston !
Great hotel with very nice staff. The gym was exactly what I needed after 9 hours on the road and although I didn't use it, the pool looked very inviting. The kitchenette was perfectly set up and I was able to use my travel blender and store my fruit in the fridge without issue. The trip into Boston could not have been more straightforward from the hotel, it was a perfect location for us. This place is definitely on the 'return' list for the next trip out east. Highly recommend.

We booked a suite with two friends, thinking that we would sleep on the pull-out sofa and they could have the bed. We were kind of surprised that we had to make the sofa up ourselves and that there was only one blanket for the sofa. There were also only 3 towels in the bathroom. The room was clearly booked for 4. So we ended up having to call down a few times for an extra blanket, more towel (which they botched, we asked for one of everything – bath, face, washcloth – we got 2 of the three. At this point we were not feeling terribly welcome or comfortable. The pull-out was horrible. All night long we clung to the sides, trying to not fall into the sunken middle. Neither of us slept a wink. It was not an auspicious beginning. The next morning, Colleen the manager asked us how our stay was. We equivocated and she picked up on it right away. The next thing I knew, we were being given a separate suite. The next night we slept like babies. It could have been a terrible experience, but Colleen, Bibek, Daniel and Chris were so pleasant and helpful – they really went out of their way to make it a good experience and a place I'd return to. (They even gave us a little goodies basket in the room the second night.) But heed my warning – leave the pull outs for children only. They really aren't fit for adults.

A very pleasant surprisePosted Aug 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
The seperate area for sleeping and watching tv was a bonus. The morning buffet was a good way to start the day. It was a pleasant surprise and a welcome way to relax and plan your day.
