Stayed here three nights in April 2015. Lovely hotel with a modern room and great facilities. Two pools - third floor and roof although both are open air. They are small so not many loungers, and narrow due to design fo hotel, but are an excellent temperture and have great views. Hotel is at the start of Avenue Diagonal, so is quite a way from the city centre. However, the metro line is just a couple of blocks away so it is easy to get everywhere and the metro system is good, with trains every 3 to 5 minutes depending on the time of day. Allow 30 - 40 minutes to get to the main sites if travelling by metro as some of the walks between the lines at the stations can be long. Hotel is just a five minute walk to the start of the beach - and it is a great beach, long, wide and clean. Barcelona itself is a fantastic city with lots to see and do and should be on everyone's list of must see cities.

Hotel was all that we could expect and more. It us a bit further from the beach than we expected but very close to trams and metro so no real difficulties in getting around. Hotel staff were friendly and efficient. We did not eat in the hotel but restaurant looked nice. Bedroom was lovely although there was a bit of a building site that we looked onto. No real problems with noise or dust though.

Cocktail bar is excellent, although we didn't try treatments in spa the pool and steam and sauna rooms were lovely. Jacuzzi pool need a bit of updating but still enjoyable. They give special offers too. We loved the surrounding areas and the restaurant of the hotel was excellent with amazing breakfast if you pay for it which wasn't expensive compare what they offer. Close to transport links or just stay close by to walk to the beach. Unfortunately some ugly unfinished building covering the view of the hotel however once you inside you forget It all. We loved it.

Stayed for my wife's birthday away from the bustle of the main streets. Hotel clean, friendly within walking a 10 minute walk of the marina, beaches and restaraunts, clubs and bars. Easy walk along the promenade thaere to La Ramblas and plenty of watering point to drop off at and freshen up. Not expensive, wonderful weather and glorious historic buildings and architecture along the way. Barcelona is hip whether you are 13 or 60. The H10 Marina is off the main drag, but lovely walks to be had around the area.

An unreal spot for summer. Very close to the beach. Th breakfast was pricey but worth it as they had lots of options. About a 15 minute walk to the nearest subway but staff helped us find the way. There's a bunch of little restaurants in the area that sell typical Spanish food. Our room was always so clean anad refreashed with towels. We had a very good stay! I would definately recommend!

We stayed 5nights at the Melia Sky Barcelona hotel and we really enjoyed our stay, the staff where nice the room was good with lovely views over the city.
The hotels location is also very good being located a 5min walk to the metro which is about 4/5 stops into the 'centre' it's almost on the Avenue Diagnol and also walking distance to the beach and nice restaurants and shops are close by.
There are many positives about this hotel and would recommend to almost everyone, however I'm not sure it's suitable for families with young children.
The one negative were the cost of the breakfast was expensive.
Overall a very nice hotel with friendly staff in a fantastic city!

Occupying the area north of the Old Town, Sant Marti is the modern face of Barcelona. It includes the massive new International Convention Centre and the stunning Vila Olímpica with its Port Olímpic marina, built for the 1992 Olympics. At weekends its beach, restaurant, bars and clubs are hugely popular. Nearby, Parc de la Ciutadella is the city’s favourite green space, home to a zoo, boating lake, greenhouse and three museums.
