Quaint and CozyPosted Nov 18, 2013
Pros: Clean, nicely equipped, pool and grounds were clean and the location was good.
Cons: Ice machine would be really convenient since unit did not have it in the refridge/freezer.
Location: We were not there during high season but plan for reservations at any restaurants on the island especially on Friday/Saturday nights. $$$
Stayed here for a quick fishing/swimming getaway for son's birthday. Usually stay in higher end timeshare condo but this location and property was quiet, conveniently located and clean. We were able to tie our boat at the dock at night and location is very convenient to bay and gulf fishing! (Keep in mind trailer cannot be kept on sight-very limited parking). Property is on both sides of Gulf of Mexico Drive but road is easy to cross to go to the beach for sunset & the bayside has the pool/hot tub and dock. All in all a very quaint and peaceful property and weekend. Everyone said they would be happy to stay here again, and that is saying a lot!

Quiet, clean, short walk to a gorgeous beachPosted Nov 4, 2013
Pros: Beautiful suite, quiet, nice grounds, short walk to beach
Cons: One of the two TVs wouldn't connect to cable. No big deal. Didn't watch much TV anyway.
Location: Halfway between Bradenton and Sarasota. Loads of beaches, aquariums, gardens, state parks, city parks, great wildlife photo ops.

nice condo on a beautiful beach, perfectPosted Oct 26, 2013
Pros: location, quiet, walking distance to restaurants
Cons: More sand/beach toys and more condiments and basic spices.
Location: Just walk across the street and enjoy the water and sand.
Our condo was very nice, just want we wanted. Loved being walking distance to the Dolphin Grill????? a fabulous reasonable priced breakfast/lunch restaurant. The beach could not have been nicer.

Absolutely wonderful!Posted Sep 25, 2013
I don't even have the words to express how awesome this place is. It's a lovely spacious condo, with 2 full baths and full kitchen. I was in unit 12 and the Gulf of Mexico was just right across the street with it's spectacular white sandy beach. On the side of the street that I was on was Sarasota bay. The entire area is just so classy. The area around the property is quiet and some what secluded, but you are just a short drive away from St. Armand's Circle that is full of restaurants, shops and live music. I was here for 4 days and I have to say not only this property but the entire area is like this little hidden gem. I write lots of reviews but I think this is the first time that I have ever been able to rate a place so highly. The property also has a swimming pool and a hot tub. Several restaurants near by and a grocery store not to far away if you would prefer to cook your own food. I would definitely recommend this place. If I could give it 10 stars I would.

Beach CastlePosted Aug 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
The cleanliness of the room was excellent. The condo was well equipped in the kitchen area and furnishings were up to date and comfortable. The only issue we had was the bedding configuration. We had requested a king size bed with sofa bed, but the room only had a full size bed and a twin bed. We were surprised that the 1 BR unit did not have at least a queen size bed. It was impossible for both of us to sleep in the same bed! Good thing the trip was not designed to be a romantic get-away! Again the facilty was VERY clean and that made up for the bedding siruation! and the staff was very efficient and friendly! The beach was great and the fact that they provided umbrellas and umbrellas "holders" was great!

very nice place for a family vacationPosted Aug 14, 2013
Pros: nice clean place and quiet and affordable for family vacation.
Cons: I wish they can change the mattresses for the beds they were uncomfortable.
over all we were very pleased with the place, when we got there the lady at the office named linda was very nice and helpful and even let us check in early, and as we got to our unit we were very pleased the unit was very clean and ready, although we would have liked to be in a unit that was right on the beach but still it was just a few steps to the beach so that was not a big deal we still enjoyed our stay and the beautiful gulf beaches I would go back to the area again and I would go back to the sane place in the future.

Good locationPosted Jul 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
When we arrived we found the unit clean and orderly, the pool brought my attention and needed to be cleaned the manager at the desk said they were on the way and we found that she was correct , we had no Internet service that should have been provided the outlet by the dining table did not work and became difficult to work reported the problem but was not resolved, would recommend the Resort only depending on rates. Also when makeing reservations pool side only means that you are across the street from the Gulf does not mean pool view.

Just What We Hoped ForPosted Jun 24, 2013
Pros: Cleanliness Accommodations Beaches
Cons: Additional Parking
Location: Very close to great beach.
We recently stayed at Beach Castle Resort to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Our room had one room with a king size bed, one bath, living room, kitchen, and screened in porch. The entire place was very clean (e.g., new clean sheets, toilet spotless, sinks clean, floors clean without sand, etc.). Overall, we were very pleased with the accommodations. Something that is worth mentioning is that the ceiling/floor between first and second level floors is solid concrete, which really limits the sounds you might otherwise hear if it were simply a hollow, wooden floor. This was really nice, and kept the place very quiet. Additionally, staff was very helpful when we arrived. Took time to give me some tips for getting around Longboat Key, best dining locations, and local activities. Although you are not directly on the beach, it is only a short walk across the street and down a trail. Look forward to going back again.
