Terrible!

Posted Aug 25, 2014
I had the worst stay. Room was as if it was stayed in mins before. And the cleaners just fixed it real quick. The dish tv didn't work. I had called multiple times to have it fixed and they did nothing about it. I stayed two nights so it could have been fixed but I wasnt.

Nasty night.

Posted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: location
Cons: everything but location
Location: it was near my appointment
staff unfriendly and defensive, charged for parking, carpets stained and room reeked of smoke. no repairs done in years, light over tv didn't work, microwave didn't work and staff would do nothing about it. electric clock did not work and there was no call service. facia over plumbing missing, really nasty looking, tiles missing from floor in bathroom. no instruction on tv - remote would not turn it on. sink was badly chipped and needed replacement years ago! on the plus side, the beds were clean and linen was fresh.

The room was cheap and I got what I paid for. The bedding had cigarette burns all over it and the bath tub was stained.

Most Disgusting Experience

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Absolutely nothing
Cons: Everything
First of all when we arrived, the guy at the front desk made me wait 15 minutes while he was on the phone arguing with his wife/girlfriend. When we finally got to our room (which was pre-paid for for three nights) it smelled very strongly of mold/mildew and wet dog. The paint was peeling off of the walls in the bathroom area. The toilet and sink had not been cleaned, there was still water in the sink from the last people to stay in it. The bedding was so full of human and dog hair that we went and purchased new sheets, pillows and blankets just to be able to utilize the bed. Had I not pre-paid for the three nights, we wouldn't have stayed at all. When I mentioned the room condition to the guy at the front desk, his response was "You got a good rate didn't you? What more do you want other than a place to lay your head?"

Rather disappointing

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Staff was nice.
Location: Riverfront. Within walking distance to food, park, mall. Great location.
When I rented the motel a in advance, there were specific things I was looking for. Those were a pool, free wifi, and coffee pot. Once I arrived at the hotel, I was informed the pool was closed for the summer. First disappointment. Then when I went to my room to do my school work on the internet, I soon discovered the wifi did not work. I asked in the lobby and they stated it was down for the weekend. Then, the next morning, as I went to make coffee, I discovered the coffee pot did not work. In addition, I had to pay for parking even though it said it was free. The office staff told me they could not discount my charges because I had pre-paid. They also stated I could check out but at that point there was no chance in finding another motel so late in the trip. I really feel that I should have been offered a discount and this motel should have notified Expedia so that there could have been time to change my reservations. Very disappointing. If the hotel had the amenities that was listed on the booking site, it would have been fine. But they had none.

Surprised no bed bugs

Filthy carpets, tv didn't work, pubic hairs on pillows, hair in tub, no plug for tub.. Looks like it should be torn down.. Toilet was filthy inside.. Absolutely the worst hotel I ever stayed in

Meh.... nit as advertised.

This was not our worst stay in a hotel but far from the best. The WiFi did not work, the pool was not open and the continental breakfast was anything but. We definitely would not stay here again.

You get what you pay for

Posted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: Location, cost of room
Cons: Odor in the room
Location: Downtown Spokane, a few blocks from Riverfront Park, INB Performing Arts Center, River Park Square, etc.
I didn't expect much when I booked an Expedia unpublished rate room for $36, and my low expectations were not exceeded. The room had a horribly funky, mildew-like odor, which I later discovered was from a large sections of wet carpet outside the bathroom. Short of the wetness, the place was marginally clean, and the counter staff was not overly friendly, but she got the job done. All I really needed was a bed and shower, and I got that. I'm just glad I didn't have my wife with me on this particular trip.

Close to downtown facilities

The beds were terrible but it was close to downtown and a short drive to the airport.
