This property is much older than then photos would have you believe. The fixtures are noisy and the bedding is very worn. The lamp did not work in our room and the alarm clock made a strange buzzing sound, even with the radio turned complexity off, so we had to unplug it order to sleep. Housekeeping was short-staffed the day we were there and our room was never serviced. The staff was gracious and took care of us, but overall the nightly rate seems high for the quality of the property.
Breakfast is a full hot buffet with the usual eggs, bacon/sausage, waffle makers plus cereal, baked goods and yogurt.
Of note: It is located in a suburban retail area, so there are restaurants and shopping such as Target and Walmart. However, this also means traffic is very heavy and the hotel is in the main, four/five lane road which means lots of driving in the opposite direction you want to go in order to u-turn at an intersection. If you’re there for a sports event as we were, allow extra time to get to your venue to account for the traffic and stoplights.
