Great price for a decent room.

Posted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: Price, breakfast, quiet, location.
Cons: Would have liked a mini-fridge & small microwave in room to make use of restaurant leftovers.
Location: Location is northeast of Syracuse, just a couple miles from 481 N, near junction with NYS Thruway.
Three of us (in Syracuse for a 2-day workshop) stayed in a room, which was a bit cramped, but suitable. King bed was overly firm, so a good sleep was difficult. Sleep sofa seemed decent, but when opened, blocked access to desk, window, and AC control. Room was right across from elevator, but was quiet (were there on Sunday and Monday night). Area of city seemed very nice and safe. Breakfast was a real bonus: scrambled eggs, sausage patties, make-it-yourself waffles, along with cold cereal, bagels/donuts, juice assortment, coffee, and instant oatmeal. Would definitely stay again for future workshops.

Not very clean

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Most of the staff i talked to, 4 out of 6 said something negative about the hotel or management. My bathroom was not clean at checkin (make up around mirror). Nor was my room cleaned during my stay. I stayed 2 nights.

Staying overnight

Got there at 12:30 am. Back door leading to the room had lock broken which will allow anyone to walk just in. Air conditioner was not working and room was hot and uncomfortable even to spend the night.

Short stay for business

Posted Jun 30, 2014
It was a great place to stay for short stays, clean, comfortable and great breakfast. If I were on vacation and wanted a pool or hot tub,not so much. Staff was very friendly. Good location and parking. We were working on a family members house to prepare it for sale and were exhausted at the end of the day, the pulsating shower was great and a comfortable bed.

Nice hotel but the beds were awful

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Breakfast, parking, bathrooms were all good.
Cons: Replace the beds and bed linens.
Breakfast was good, facilities good but the beds were very lumpy, with poor pillows and ours made groaning noises every time you tried to change position so we often were waking each other up.

Not bad

The hotel staff is nice and friendly. The entrance could be more clean. What I liked most is that coffee is available 24 hours.

Clean hotel outside of Syracuse

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: The staff were very friendly
Cons: The halls are dark, tv older model, bedspreads and decor need updating
Location: This hotel is in the vicinity of all the other hotels and several restaurants in the perimeter of Syracuse.
The front desk staff were very helpful but were struggling to train new staff and had trouble with the computer data. They were very friendly and attempted to be helpful. The room was noisy (near ice machine) but comfortable...halls etc. need updating!

Great location

Posted Jun 14, 2014
Pros: Great breakfast, easy access from the interstate. Easy access to the room. This hotel had other features such as a fitness room and laundry.
Cons: I would have a tv channel guide either on the tv or a printed copy near the tv. The room entrance door lifts up rather than pushes down..awkward.
Location: We stayed 4 nights and we drove to Cazenovia (hometown)each day which to only 20 minutes via 690, 481 and 92. Site see, eat, eat some more.
The staff has been well schooled on being friendly and attentive. Had a broken toilet seat for several days. We left a note on the second day when leaving for the day at around11:00 am. We returned that night and the room had not been cleaned and the seat still broken. I've stayed in hotels for 40 years and to me that is not a big deal and should not take away from the excellent breakfast and the lady that makes sure all is well stocked as well as the front desk personnel.
