"We had a week at the beautiful Villa Lajatico at the end of August and had a really wonderful holiday. The villa is very comfortable and well equipped, the outdoor space for eating is also lovely and the pool area is truly splendid. The panoramic views were extraordinary and the pool itself was well maintained and a lovely size. The family who run the Agritourismo that the villa is situated on were welcoming and helpful with absolutely everything, easily available when needed. We joined them...

"The house is very spacious Just like the garden. We had to share the pool which we didn't know but that turbed out okay. The cutlery and crockery weren 't very clean maybe because the dishwasher didn't work properly. The host / property manager on the other hand was great and helpen us a lot with everything. We had a wonderfull week!"

The kids (aged range 7-2) lived in the pool - it was perfect as there is a small shallow pool within the lovely large pool that they could swim about it. "The house is as described. It is one half of a house, that is rented as well, so there can be other people around. A downside is that the house is up a steep hill. The road is small and needs some courage, but is totally do-able. We mostly drove by car instead of walking up and down. An upside is the cute neighbours cat, which visites occasionally. The landlady is very kind and even asked during the stay if everything is alright. All in all a great stay 👍"

"A simple property but clean and comfortable. Good showers, comfortable beds. Cool pool! Also easy access to Pisa on the train and beautiful Tuscan countryside by car. Drive further south to Follonica for a good beach. Add good company, food and (local) wine and you have everything you could possibly need."

Ils résident juste à côté, et sont très accessibles et surtout très réactifs aux diverses demandes que nous leur avons faites. Nous recommandons cette villa et sa piscine, le coin BBQ etc... "Absolutely beautiful property in a beautiful location within three minutes walk of a wonderful old and charming town with great restaurants and some nice markets. Also air conditioned, which for most Americans (like us) is not a luxury but a must, though it didn't work in one bedroom and the study, which just meant one of us slept downstairs. Pool was nice. "This was the perfect experience. The house, which we found out had only become available this year for rentals, was wonderful. It was comfortably and stylishly furnished and had everything we needed. The only thing missing was an induction compatible coffee maker - which the gracious property owner hand-delivered to us! Es war herrlich sich auf der Terrasse und den offen Räumlichkeiten des Hauses aufzuhalten und den Sonnenuntergang zu beobachten. "Monteverdi is a marvelous little town with beautiful surroundings and everything there when you need to do some grocery shopping or want to go for diner in a restaurant or eat some Italian icecream. It also has a little playground and fitness area. It's a 10 minute walk or a 2 minute drive by car.
