"Very quaint, cozy and quiet. Close to everything but tucked just far enough back that you don’t hear noise. The personalized touches were amazing. Owner was very nice. We were able to grill dinner and enjoy a fire pit. The renovations successfully maintain the historic features but include modern conveniences."

"It was a nice facility. The decor could be changed up somewhat, though it was charming. Having bathrooms in the hallway was awkward, but one gets used to it. THe breakfast was excellent."

"The hotel has beautiful grounds and surroundings. There were some Quiky things about the hotel. Like they wouldn't accept a letter for the outgoing mail, and they keep the luggage carts locked up and you can only use them when the valet is on duty. There isn't maid service everyday but the rooms were clean, a good size, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom had plenty of towels and service items. The breakfasts were really nice, and the bar tender in the sports bar was very competent. "
