Not impressed

When you go on vacation you are expecting to every body you go is friendly. But expecialy on the front door they were not. The cleaning ladies they were almost throu in us out of the room to clean, was not even 10:00am and they were allready nocking.

Would not recommend

Staff was friendly, lobby was nice. The room was not the cleanest. Carpet was filthy. Found a crack pipe under the bed. Went down the next morning to check out and have breakfast. Cops were in the lobby told us was a bad area for drugs and prostitution.

Nice, Inexpensive Hotel

Our experience at the hotel was very pleasant. We enjoyed the pool, contential breakfast, and the staff. One staff member in particular, Justin, was very helpful, polite, and a great representative of the hotel. We had an a/c issue with the first room we were to stay in. Justin immediately switched our rooms and then made sure that we were satisfied with our room before his shift ended. He also greeted us by our names as we entered and exited the lobby area. The only complaints we have is 1) the matresses were "bouncy" and 2) the location was slightly inconvenient to get to from IH-35 north. We will stay at this hotel again when we visit Austin!

Nice stay

The young lady at the front desk was VERY cheerful & helpful. She even printed off directions to a nearby movie theater when we asked where the closest one was.

The people at the front desk were so kind and made me feel like i was really cared for while staying there. The maid service was also great i had no complaints about the cleanliness of my room. The people at the hotel were there to please me in anyway and i would stay there again, and tell my friends as well.

Traveler's tip on nightlife

I went to austin for the nightlife and found exactley what i was looking for. There are so many different places to choose from and no matter where i went or the type of people i encountered i was never dissatisfied.

The Hotel was clean and a good place to rest. The only complain I have is about the front desk girl, I had a problem with one of my rooms when I was checking in and she was not helpful at all and was rude. I was not satisfied with their customer service.

AUSTIN’S BEST HOTEL

We were very impressed with this hotel in every aspect. It was perhaps the cleanest hotel we’ve ever stayed in and seemed underpriced for all the amenities given (mini frig, microwave, iron/board, coffee, extra towels). The staff was very accomidating. We booked for 1 night and after an unexpected trip to the ER with our son, we called the hotel and were given an additional night for a discounted price. We will stay there EVERY time we visit Austin.

Good Night of Rest

Quick weekend trip. Only needed a restful overnight located near my route. This motel fit the bill very nicely. Got that restful sleep and quick access to the highway upon leaving. Will definitely consider staying there on future trips through Austin.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Can’t speak for anything except clean room and friendly check in and out. Plenty of other businesses around for your needs in this part of Austin.

Not a bad hotel for the price. However entrance and exit is a bit difficult due to heavy traffic.

It was affordable and the room were clean. The customer services was very friendly and they had a decent continental breakfast. Not bad.

Good value for the $

I had to travel to Austin for training and stayed the night to have some fun while I was there. The hotel was clean and the front manager was extremely helpful. My only problem was the neighborhood surrounding the hotel was kind of run down. But I would stay there again. Great hotel for the price.

Decent Basic Housing

It takes some maneuvering to get to the hotel when heading from downtown. The freeway bridge is about a mile or more north of the exit so a driver has to double back to get to the location. However, freeway entry is right in front of the Super 8 which requires crossing 3 lanes of busy frontage road. The room itself was thoroughly cleaned for each of a 3 day stay. The mattress was overly soft. I called 5 days ahead to reserve a poolside view, since a read of previous reviews complained of the noisy freeway side rooms. There is a PC in the lobby, which I had to use since WiFi connection is possible yet my laptop never could connect to the server. This despite being reset by the desk staff periodically. This has never occurred at other hotels around the country. Breakfast is basic make your own waffles and warm your bagels in a busy dining area. The desk staff is all business and, with the exception of the eager new evening guy, not particularly friendly or overly helpful. The price was right and since it was essentially a place to sleep and shower, worked well enough for me.

Good value for a weekend road trip

The hotel lives up to what is advertised. It’s not a 5-star property by any means, but it’s clean, easy to get to, and relatively quiet. The TV has a ton of channels, and there is a free breakfast (cereal, waffles, pastries, etc.). This is the second time I’ve stayed there and won’t hesitate to go back again.

this hotel is very old and run down, owners obviously dont care about customer service, breakfast was bad , not much to offer, would not stay here again!!

the room had 2 dirty kleenex in it. There was bottle caps and other trash under the beds. They were out of clean towels. One of the towels had body hair all over it.

Alright if you have rental car and need cheep place to stay

Went on a very busy weekend and almost every other hotel was sold out. Thought we could do okay taxing back and forth, but ended up expensive taxi rides (bad location on I35, had to go way past and make a U-turn) and fairly long waits. We eventually (after 1 day) picked up rental car, which made things easier. Room was musty and hallway smelled like old garbage. Staff was quite friendly and room was clean, but would have stayed elsewhere if we had the option.
