Days Inn Spokane Downtown

Great location for train nuts (like me), but also for those interested in the heart of Spokane

Very good service, clean place to stay, internet that worked like a charm! If you are exploring the area (like I was), this was a great place to stay.. easy location to highways, downtown etc.. clean, quiet, everything I needed (including some unusual things, a normal traveler wouldn’t need) VERY nearby.. Clean room, great rate, secure.. a great home base!

Not a typical Days Inn

This hotel was pretty seedy for a Days Inn. The neighborhood was not the best and if I was staying by myself I would have been scared. No continental breakfast but a close rundown restaurant. Food wasn’t too bad though.

needed revonation

It’s the first time I’ve met the sheet is not made of 100% cotton. That’s really not comfortable. Almost everything is old, needed revonation. Good location. Breakfast is not free, $2 coupon per person in neighbor restaurant.

Enjoyed my stay!

Everything from how we were treated when we checked in to the condition of our room to the easy going breakfast we had made our stay really nice. I liked the location, and since I was towing a small trailer they found a place for me to park without making it a big deal. All of the staff were very helpful!

The price was right.

Great downtown location. Clean and simple. Nothing luxurious but was a cost efficient and convenient place to stay in downtown Spokane. Staff were very nice and helpful. Call and make sure the pool is open before assuming it is.

Older hotel and not updated. It was fairly close to the convention center which was key for us. We stayed one night and it was adequate for our needs.

Staff was friendly enough, and the location was not bad. However, the room was not very clean & the condition of the hotel was below average at best.

Good place to stay for the price ...

This is a clean and quiet place to stay. A few blocks from restaurants, etc. The staff was super helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Save A Few Bucks.

The room was very clean. Bed made, towels and wash rags right by the shower. There was ample amount of parking space. It was quiet and the area was well kept.

Good sleep

Great accomodations however, the breakfast was lacking. Not in quality or quantity, but the atmosphere wasn’t very welcoming. They had converted an old room into their breakfast room and it was small and dark. Other than that, as always, Days Inn is my favorite place to stay, wherever I am.

Just a regular motel stay

I was pleased everything was in order. I had no problemswith things. They were polite and caring to my needs.

very cheap, if looking for a short time stay

The service here was excellent, all of the hotel staff was very friendly. Our room was a non-smoking room, but it still smelled like smoke. Our toilet handle broke, but the staff was very apologetic and maintenance was by our room in no time at all to fix the problem. The location is pretty central, so it’s quick to get to places. If you’re looking for a place that cheap and simple, this hotel is decent.

Excellent for a budget hotel

We stayed for 5 days and don’t have a single complaint. The staff was extremely cheerful, kind and helpful, the continental breakfast quite adequate, and the location very convenient.

Ok for last minute accommodations

Over all it was a nice place to stay. There was a large black stain on the carpet, but everything else was clean and orderly.

Good low-cost stay in Spokane

Awesome showers and convenient WiFi. Unexpected for the price of the place.

A Good Base Camp

The location was great as it is accessible from downtown and I-90. We went all over the area and were able to easily find the hotel again. Some remodeling needs to be done and the grounds area needed a little cleaning up. The office staff were helpful and friendly. The pool area was well kept up. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast area was way too small. Overall I think we would stay here again as we were gone most of the day and used our room as a place to crash after a busy day of sightseeing.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

My husband and I took our bicycles and rode the many trails in the area, especially the Centennial Trail. Spokane is a wonderful place to visit and we love the lack of traffic. There are so many parks to visit and we loved Manito Gardens! Bowl & Pitcher are a must to see as well! Downtown is a special place to spend the day and Riverfront Park is wonderful. We also enjoyed the closeness of Courd’lane, Idaho. It’s a great place to ride bikes and spend the day.

Ok, except for parking when very busy

Staff friendly, Service/ house cleaning good. Not enough parking on a busy weekend. Couldn’t park near your room. Saturday evening 11:45 pm No Parking left " had to park on the street.

I am impressed with their helpfulness...

The staff was eager to help. Every hotel near Spokane was booked. The staff got on the phone and tried to help tired travelers find a hotel. I will return to this hotel. The room was good and the pool was refreshing. Thanks Econo Lodge

They’re trying, but I’ll stay elsewhere next time.

This is actually a motel, not a hotel. The motel is split into 3 or 4 two story buildings. It seems a little run down, however, our room was newly remodeled. I would have been pretty happy, except it wasn’t as clean as I would have liked. This could have been a one off, however. It was close to the freeway and downtown, which we really liked. This is a great place to stay if you are only staying one night. If you want more comfort for a longer stay, etc, this is probably not your best bet.
