Nice and Clean

We stayed at the Sheraton on our Wedding night. It was very clean and comfy. I would definitely stay there again! I would recommend it to others. Rooms are very spacious and the TVs are nice too!

Special Deal

We received a special rate using expedia and it was worth the visit. Nice room but meals were quite pricey. Never ate at the hotel for that reason. But rooms were nice.

Would go back if the Tub was Cleaner

We enjoyed our stay the room was very nice and worth every penny we paid. But the tub in the bathroom looked old and filty, it was just gross. We didn’t complain because we didn’t want to ruin our anniversary weekend so we cleaned it ourselves and kept it moving. But hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, nice place to stay only draw backs are the unclean tub and we had to pay wi-fi

Beautiful and comfortable

I love this hotel! Everything about it says, "Comfort"! The atmosphere was beautiful and the room was so cozy! The beds were extremely comfortable! I will definitely visit again!

O.K.

The suite concept is a bit of a misnomer. The area is divided into two rooms, but each is about 10 sq. feet too small. Each when used as separate rooms feel cramped. The restaurant is way overpriced, though there are many alternatives within driving distance. The staff is nice and helpful.

Perfect

Great Hotels, suite is so big and confortable, great place and service, free parking and coffee...but you must pay for wi-fi connections!! unbelieveble.

Needs some work

The bathtubs need some work. Chips in the tub are not attractive and make you feel like it is a cheaper hotel than it is. The rest is good.

Rent a Car

This is a great hotel but if you don’t have a car, you could be stuck in the middle of nowhere. It is in the middle of a business park. There is a very friendly taxi service on site but you never know when they will be available or out on a run, etc. They took me to the big mall one night and picked me up at a specified time. I think it cost me $40. This hotel should expand it’s lounge so that there is something to do onsite in the evenings. Currently, it is a tiny (and I mean tiny) bar with a crabby bar tender and it only stays open until 5:30 or 6:00. The restaurant is great and they have a good breakfast buffet but it is pretty expensive ($18). The rooms are newly remodeled and are very nice. There are TVs in both the bedroom, which can be closed off completely, and in the living room. There is a microwave and refrigerator. Overall, it is a great place to stay for business. If you want to get out and have some fun at night, you will have to use the taxi service if you don’t have a car.

There is NO NIGHTLIFE. You will need to take a cab or have a car since this is in the middle of a business park. If you want to stay in your room to work, watch TV, workout, have dinner onsite, this is a GREAT hotel.

great rooms

Good room at a good price. Huge bed two TV’s desk couch microwave and fridge nice and quite. Very clean and comfortable. There was some construction going on in the conference area, did not effect our group, the internet was not free, big minus and sodas were 2.00 for cans in the machine with limited selection. did have an indoor and outdoor pool area. Not too far from downtown very close to the airport and some good shopping. Overall a good stay definitely recommend.

Very Nice

Quiet setting, lush atomsphere. Perfect for the price. A bit of a hassel getting to downtown Chicago, but still very nice. Front desk helpful with directions to anywhere you’d like to go.

GREAT PLACE AND PET FRIENDLY

We really like this hotel and have stayed there before. It is really nice since they have remodeled. They are also very pet friendly and we really appreciate that.

I was travelling with a friend and my dog from Winnipeg to Toronto through the US. We stayed at the Sheraton on the way there, and loved it so much we booked it again for the way back. All hotel suites are newly renovated, and are beautiful. French doors separate the bedroom from the main room, and there is a large plasma in the main room and bedroom. The hotel staff are wonderful, and are very friendly. The hotel was absolutely clean and spotless. The hotel is very pet friendly and doesn’t even charge a pet fee. There is lots of greenspace surrounding the hotel to take your pooch out for a walk, as well. The outdoor pool was just as nice as the photos on the site, and was very clean and well kept. I would definitely stay at the Sheraton Elk Grove again when in the Chicago area.

We asked the desk clerks to recommend some authentic Chicago deep dish pizza, and they both said at the same time "Lou Malnati’s!!". They have brochures at the front desk. They were right - it was amazing pizza! There are only two meat selections - sausage or pepperoni. Get the sausage. It’s homemade and delicious.

not impressed

the room next to mine was under construction with no warning and they were very loud early in the morning. Besides that it is a nice hotel.

NIce - but not very user friendly

The hotel was clean in that they was still doing updating. The new updated rooms are nice and clean but the bathrooms are not very user friendly. There is no place to unpack your toiletries so we kept them in the bags which was a bit of an inconvience. There is no sink in the kitchen area so you are always using the bathroom sink (another inconvience). The staff was all very friendly and helpful. They printed maps and gave us directions to where we wanted to go. The pools were great as was the hot tub. I think that the bar and restaurant area could stay open later than they do. Over all the hotel was good and I would stay again after all the updating is finished. One word of advice, Always keep check on what is in the food bar in the fridge and in the basket. We had something taken, not by us, but the staff took care of the problem for us.

The pools and hot tub is great for families. There is also plenty of restaurants close, as well as stores for shopping ie, WalMart and other grocery stores.

Texas de Brazil is the best steakhouse in the area and is attached to the WoodLawn Mall (4 miles away).

Great Value

This hotel was well worth the value vs. other properties in the area. The rooms were large with 2 flat panel TVs. One in the bedroom and one in the main room.

Overall a good night sleep

It is a good hotel and reasonably priced. The resturant is overpriced and not great food.

Good business traveler hotel

Very nice hotel for business traveler, since there isn’t much else around there. Could use an upgrade to their restaurant with more menu choices. But otherwise, very nice, clean and comfortable. Attentive staff.

Sheraton Suites

Hotel is fine for business stay - In the middle of nowhere. We got to the bar before the food service was supposed to stop, but they wouldn’t let us order food. We weren’t happy, especially since there is nothing within walking distance of the hotel.

Will think twice next time

After driving in circles for fifteen minutes looking for the hotel, we arrived smiling faces that helped a bit. We got to our room to find that the photo was more appealing than the actual room. Saving grace on this trip was Starbucks in the lobby.
