Pretty Good for the Price

The continental breakfast left something to desired and a queen bed would have been much better, but it was a nice hotel with great staff, a nice pool, and good location.

Excellent except:

The room was great, very clean and comfortable beds really enjoyed our stay. However the complimentary breakfast wasn’t very impressive at all. Maybe they could take a lesson from Comfort Inn on a breakfast menu.

Good value for the $, spacious and comfortable

We enjoyed our stay and found it spacious and comfortable. The pool was nice, a hot tub would be a great addition. The breakfast area was over- crowded and the food was very average.

Great Room

I chose this room because of the good reviews I read. When I saw it I was not disappointed. The room was very spacious. The large sectional couch and flat screen TV was nice. The hotel is within close driving distance of many restaurants and shopping. The only complaint I have is that the mattress was uncomfortable.

Elegant and Family Friendly

We stayed in several hotels during our vacation. The Hyatt Place Denver was by far our favorite. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable.We especially enjoyed the flat screen t.v. The staff was welcoming and helpful. We also enjoyed the location, close enough to a freeway enterance, but not directly downtown.

There are several movie theaters nearby which makes for a nice diversion from a long road trip.

Great Hotel!!!

We stayed here on the forth of July with our 5 & 6 year old daughters. The clerk put us in a room with a great view and we were able to watch fireworks for an hour and a half.

Great Hotel - Great Service

Couldn’t be happier. The staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel was the cleanest I’ve ever stayed at.

Extremely Satisfied

This hotel was absolutely fantastic. The amenities of the hotel were second to none considering the price we paid for it.

One Caveat

This hotel is one of the best I have stayed at. That being said, it is not the best. The walls seem paper thin. If anyone is in the hallway you will know. Always be sure to catch the door as it closes because it SLAMS closed. On a positive note, the room was very clean and cozy. The couch and bed were very comfortable as I slept on both. The big HDTV was great but, sometimes the HD channels refused to work. The football games I watched were exquisite in HD.

No nonsense comfort

We were there for a wedding. Though the area isn’t residential at all, the hotel was everything we needed. It’s a business hotel after all, so one doesn’t expect a restaurant and full bar... nevertheless, there was more than adequate breakfast, and beer and wine in the lobby. A perfect resting spot for a special occasion where the glitz is found elsewhere.

Great design, great hotel

As an artist, I really appreciate a hotel like this. The attention to detail from the hall carpet down to the soap dishes reflects a wonderfully coherent design scheme. The breakfast is outstanding. I would definitely stay here again.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

We had a great time catching the Light Rail right across the highway and taking it downtown for a great evening. The front desk was very helpful in this area.

Home Again

We found Hyatt Place to be an excellent hotel choice. Check In was by touchscreen and a staff person was very helpful in this regard. The room was excellent with a fine bed, huge TV, and room to roam. We will definitely be back.

Skip this Hyatt Place!!

I normally LOVE staying at Hyatt Place, but this one in Denver was not a great experience. Faucet in the bathroom needed repair, as did the toilet seat, stains on the rug, etc. Again, normally Hyatt place is great - but not this one.

I love this hotel!

This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed here. I love the room set-up, the comfortable bed ( I can even tolerate the pillows, but still prefer my own down pillow), the great restaurant next door. I also love the price. THe breakfast is adequate, and fresher than most continental-type hotel breakfasts.

YiaYias next door is great. The pizza is just like you get in Prague or Krakow. Ask the receptionist at the front desk for a card for a free appetizer-beef carpachio is great!

Pricey and noisy

Needed a hotel in this general area on relatively short notice. Hotel is very modern looking. Wonderful bed with a large room. However no microwave, skimpy on the complimentary toiletries. Less than expected for a hotel half the price. Hotel is very noisy, could hear all traffic on street and in the hallways. Cheap construction. Continental was nothing special served on nice ceramic. All about the look. Hotel has no hot tub.

Nice Nice Nice

Nice place, nice location, nice people, one of the better places I’ve stayed in Denver. If you have a 6 people to fit in one room, there isn’t much better...we could have slept two more easy. The queen size sofa bed is actually a large sectional.

Laser Quest Down the Street (on Hampden) doesn’ t look like anything special from the outside, but inside it is a blast.

Close to a Pappadeaux restaurant for delicious seafood. We ate there twice!

Would definitely recommend

The Hotel’s staff is very warm and friendly, ready to assist you at a moments notice. The facilites were clean and very modern. The Hotel’s decor was very hip and trendy. I would come back to stay as well as would definitely recommend this place to anyone who asks.

Empathetic staff

My stay in Denver was for a funeral and my family was also staying at the hotel. The staff was incredibly empathetic. The service was beyond hospitable. I was surprised by and appreciated their caring manner and consistent willingness to be helpful.
