We really enjoyed our stay. This was a business trip but we had the opportunity to take in the local scenery and attractions. Denver and the surrounding mountain towns are beautiful. It’s too bad the city sidewalks have human feces all over them due to the high number of homeless.

Great location downtown. You can easily access the interstate if you are driving. The staff was great and helpful. Be sure to check out the rooftop bar. It had vibes even during the cold nights.

I get that design styles change but the essence of a hotel room should remain. This room does not have any drawers to put your clothes in. There is a bench that you can put one suitcase on, but the other bags have to be stored in the open closet. (Next to the ironing board that is just leaning up against the wall since it doesn't fit in the closet) The design is an attempt at a modern sleek style but planning for storage would have added to the look The restroom has a floating vanity with a small side rolling chrome-like cart that barely fit two towels and tissue. The sliding frosted door to the restroom instead of a traditional door is not an upgrade and can be an inconvenience. For the price we paid we thought the room would be more upscale, not top-of-the line, but still, nicer. Bottom line, it was a poor attempt to update an aging hotel for the least amount of money. But these are the times, paying more for getting less.
