"Good a/c, spacious apartment and many kinds of birds around. However, the maintenance of the facility can be improved and it would be nice if the manager could go over the essential when guests arrive rather than having guests to discover issues( broken curtain rod, moldy coffee maker and missing keys for patio glass doors etc) related to their stay. Sadly, the house is only two year old but deteriorates beyond its age. "

"We discovered that we LOVE Casa Marbella, one of the highlights of our visit to Costa Rica this time! Family owned and run, one of the oldest hotels in Tortugero, the Casa Marbella staff provides friendly, expert, and excellent customer service (boat taxi pick up at the airport, guided tours by boat and in the preserve, etc.) The hotel is small, right on the river, and quiet. We loved staying here and definitely would go back."

"Very nice owners and the cabin was super clean and well equipped. The double bed is not very big, but it is comfortable. The entrance is from the main street and is a bit steep, but a 4x4 is not required, we drove the way up with a sedan.
