“My daughter and I had a quick trip through Buxton. We were very happy with the cleanliness of the room and location for our trip. Laura was helpful w/ questions and offering advice as we continued our travel. Would definitely visit the Swell Motel again!”

“They are unable to accommodate the handicapped. Refuse to help. They blame Expedia and in turn Expedia blames them. Got nowhere talking to either party. Had to go out and buy a suction bath handle just to get into the shower. If you are handicapped stay as far away from this place as possible. They do not care about you. You give them all the money up front and they couldn’t care less about you. There is no office to go to if you have problems. Worse Experience Ever!!! WE WILL NEVER BE BACK!!!!!”

“Property was suffering beach erosion after the winter and early storms on the Oceanside. But spectacular view from room and deck on the Oceanside. We should have asked them for a regular coffee pot.
Very disappointed that the hot tub was not even warm. We went for beach horseback ride and for 62 yo we sure could have used it. Mgmt tried to get propane for hot tub . But just couldn’t. ”

“Kevin was great! We got there late but we still was able to find our place smoothly and it was very peaceful. Not a busy time, very clean. We loved the cottages. I paddled with my own paddle board. My kid had the whole pool to herself, and it was very clean. We will definitely be back. We got a Magnet that matched the cottage we stayed in. ♥️✌️⛱️”
