“It was a big room and very safe. The only thing about the room that we were not fans of is that it is studio style so the master bed kitchen, living room and pull out sofa are all in the same big room. The pull out sofa bed was not very comfortable and the bathroom is very small. The location is great walking distance to everything and a restaurant directly across the street.”

“Clean rooms and very friendly staff. The pool and hot tub were also well kept. The beach directly in front of the hotel is not good due to huge sandbags trying to combat the erosion but a short 75 yards down the beach is great. They have rooms with full kitchens and also just kitchenette for short stays. Its a quite little beach town worth checking out”

“This was our first time in Nags Head! Surf Side hotel did not disappoint. From the moment we checked in we had a great experience. We were celebrating my mom's 70th birthday and her small welcome gift in the room was such a beautiful surprise!! The hotel was very clean and all the staff were very helpful and accommodating to our needs!! The elevator is slow and breakfast is okay but those were the only 2 things that could be improved in our eyes! Thanks for giving us a great stay. We look……

“The location was amazing! If you want a totally relaxing experience with little people this is the place to visit! Nice little shops and the best coffee and ice cream next door! Pros: very clean with full kitchen and living room. Reasonably priced Cons: the furniture was really worn out! Bed was so uncomfortable! Make sure you have your door codes prior arrival Room was 111! I noticed that some of the other rooms appeared to have new furniture.”

“The staff was friendly. They had some activities going on to win a free week for next year but you can't bring the ducks in after the office closes at 5 and there's no way to let them know you found more ducks. The office doesn't open till 10 which makes harder for people leaving first thing in the mornings. The place could use a good cleaning too. Cobwebs all over, trash on the bedroom floor, dead bug in one of the beds, the mattress covers really need replaced they are gross and covered with……
