“There are lots of ants at the grass area . I means a lot of them they are building a lot of home. And there are lots noise at night specially sleeping time people still in the pool and playing out loud around 3-4 am. ”

“The office chair needs replaced. All the vinyl was torn off. The seat was down to the padding making it very unsanitary. The bedspread also needs replaced. It has multiple burn holes all along the top. Our room was at the end of the building at the back. Our first night there it was rainy. We had a vagrant sleeping outside our door. He caused no problems and was gone in the morning.”

“I’ve been visiting Texas beaches for four years and have always stayed at Motel 6—I’ve had great experiences at all of them. This one was a total letdown. The rooms look very spacious in the photos, but that’s not the reality. They don’t clean the room until check-out day; I stayed for three nights, and every day I had to go to the front desk and beg for clean towels—they’d only give me two, even though there were four of us. The property was filthy, littered with trash day and night. Truly a……

“We had an awful stay at Captain Quarters. Upon arrival, our room was not clean and there was sand in the bedding. The building is run down and not at all sound proof- we could hear every person that passed through the stairwell next to our room all day and night. The plumbing made a hissing sound throughout the building, and we heard it repeatedly as people showered. The worst part of our stay though was the heat. During our three day stay, our room never cooled down - even with the thermostat……

“DONT DO IT! Not sure how this place is getting such good reviews. To start, the pool pictures are catfish pics at best. Much much smaller than it looks online. Water was murky and the pool is tiny. The pics make it look resort style and are very misleading. And i picked this property because of the pool, or at least how it was depicted online. The rooms are funky. The bathtub we had was used and not clean, had sand in it from previous guests. Yuck. The ceiling fan was caked in dust, very yuck.……

“Staff are smoking while changing our bed sheets and “ cleaning the rooms “ my husband had to ask for cleaning supplies and new bed sheets so our kids wouldn’t have to walk on a dirty floors and smelly sheets . Everything about it was disgusting , found mold in the corners of the room and to top it off , baby roaches !”

“Room was small, bed too small, bed only had two flat pillows for two people, the bed slid every time we’d sit or lay down, the tv did not work, trash bags scattered down the hallway. Checked out after only about 20 minutes”
