“What a Gem of a hotel in the Eastern Sierra! We loved this unpretentious, very comfortable lodge. Recently remodeled, everything is super clean. Our Room (#1) overlooked Bridgeport's Main Street and the beautiful 1880 courthouse across the street. Main Street is also Hwy 395, but at night it's not busy. The Bodie Hotel is also an old building - it reminded us of a European B&B. Pro Tip: restaurants close early in Bridgeport, so plan your meals accordingly. So, if you're tired of motels,……

“The outside of this motel classically old. The inside is very modern. Clean and comfortable. Functional kitchenette. There is no staff to help with check in. Everything is done online. The coded door lock took a while to figure out. I met the manager in the morning along with another staff person. They were attentive and friendly. I would stay here again.”

“Everything about the property is excellent. In addition to the conventional ròoms available for booking, a KOA campground is part of the overall operation. Be aware that your arrival time must be conveyed to ensure someone is available to receive you upon arrival. Also, be aware that some cell phone carriers do not cover the immediate spot. T-Mobile could not be used. Fortunately, we had another phone with a different carrier and were OK. WI-FI IS VERY GOOD. STAFF COULD BE MORE CONGENIAL.”

“This place was neat. Steve was very helpful and knowledgeable. The pool was sparkly clean and so was cabin we booked. They have grills outside you can use. Hubby and I made ourselves a steak, potato salad and kale salad dinner. We will be back!”
