"What a beautiful hotel in a lovely, quiet town. Honestly, there wasn't much to do in Hilterfingen - which was exactly what I wanted. The Bellevue is so pretty - charming old building - but so very comfortable. My room wasn't billed as having a lake view - which meant that it was on the side of the hotel. But what I had was a very comfortable balcony, with a stunning view of the lake and mountains on one side, and the charming Hilterfingen Kirche on the other! I could not have been happier...

"This location is no ideal for someone interested in exploring Lucerne, Interlaken, Zermatt or any sightseeing places. It is remote. There are trains hourly connecting to Thun and Bern but no direct train to Interlaken. It looks countryside without many shopping options nearby except a convenient store. There is no air condition and windows don't open at all, and hence no fresh air. Windows are only fixed glass windows for day light."

"It's an aviation training facility which has apartments available for stays. Super easy check in and out. Very clean and spacious apartment with kitchenette and balcony. Aldi nearby meant we could make our own meals and Dave even more. About 20 minutes drive onto Bern old town centre. It was probably the best place we stayed at on our trip and would happily stay there again."

"Funky parking. Small lot nearby was full and the public parking garage isn’t convenient. It’s free overnight but the meter starts ticking at 8am. My room had really inconvenient place to plug in and charge -everything had to be on the floor. Weird that in this day and age a hotel would make it so inconvenient. "This hotel is in a great location in central Marly close to Fribourg. It's a simple bus ride into Fribourg, where there is lots to see and do. The room is not air-conditioned, but not many places in Switzerland are. The hotel downstairs is spotless and delicious, and the staff are all very friendly. I'd recommend this hotel for travelers who want to see Fribourg but get a taste of Swiss village life---great point from which to bike around the countryside as well!"

"The attic room I stayed in was great and had an excellent view. The staff were friendly. As a solo backpacker looking to visit Gruyere with a one night stays in Bulle, the very limited check in/out times and inability to check a bag made it complicated to visit the HR Giger museum. The only window that worked involved taking the train to Gruyere in the morning to visit as soon as it opened at 10 am, then taking the train back to bulle in time for the noon checkout. it’s a short ride, and fine...

We travelled with our small kid and the lady at reception declined our request to do a bit earlier checkin although we could find out that the rooms were ready at that time, she wasn't kind enough and was continuously on the phone while we waited at reception. Room has no tea/coffee facility, dark inside and a broken chair. Would never book this again."
