“The resort location is gorgeous, but it’s an older property that needs better insect management. We had a few cockroaches in the bathroom and on our living room walls. We wrote them off to Kauai moist climate at first, but when we found a roach in our bed, that was the end of our patience. We checked out early. Front desk was unfazed. It’s a timeshare resort. So it has seen a better day. Reception is run by young and inexperienced staff. It felt like they were there for the summer and really……

“The house is beautiful with nice furniture and a great outdoor space. But most people will want the negatives so here goes. The AC doesn’t keep up and is set at 69 degrees but the temp in the house especially upstairs stayed between 74-77. Too hot for me to sleep. There was construction going on at the house next door so you woke up to that at 8 during the week. Not that big of a deal, minor inconvenience. Here’s the real fun. The staff was very kind and extremely helpful with anything you may need. From finding things to do in island, to helping you obtain rentals and beach equipment.
