“Nice clean room overlooking the sea front. I expected there to be traffic noise which there was but it died down as the evening progressed. However what I didn’t expect was to be woken at 2:30 am by noisy deliveries and services and then again at various intervals throughout the night. “Upgraded me to a balcony room on arrival and I must say the view was stunning, the room however was dusty throughout. The service of it was poor; I think they changed my small bin twice; didn’t change the bedding over 6 days; had to ask for new refreshments and towels twice; television rarely picked a signal up; telephone didn’t work to contact reception; it was a very compact for a double room too; extremely hot weather and the dusty fan provided gave no relief at all. “The bed was super comfy and a king size. Towels were fluffy and big. Room was hot but it was the time of the heatwave and a fan was already in the room so all good. The breakfast was delicious and loads of it. The staff were also great, particularly Jimmy who showed us to our room, he served us a pint and said that if it was not up to standard, to let him know and he’d change it! All great customer service, all round from everyone at the Nags Head - well done all!”
