“Faded grandeur. Beautiful entrance and lobby and public areas. Rooms very dated and basic. Mould in shower, small room, poor and limited dated furniture. Nice staff. Probably value for what I paid. Only great issue… noise from plumbing. If rooms use their radiators and turn them up knocking sound reverberates around rooms, disturbing sleep. Mentioned to reception, not really interested. A lovely faded gem, and a place I’ve wanted to stay in for a while. So enjoyed experiencing a journey back to……

“I stayed with my dog and found the accommodation really good. Although my room could of done with a slight upate it was clean and spacious. I had a beautiful veiw of the coastline. The staff helpful and location was perfect. I will return next year to repeat my stay. ”

“Staff are really great and friendly! The room we stayed is near the alley which is noisy during the night that we couldn’t sleep well. And the pillows are flat that are not comfortable. ”

“Room was lovely, spotless and very cosy. The staff were welcoming and helpful, the room service was great and the breakfast was good, but never got asked if we required any top ups e.g. coffee, toast etc. checkout was a bit early for us but all in all a nice break and would stay there again.”
