"Property was great and it is very close to the beach area as well as the wild ponies. Walkable to all the coffee shops and ice cream. Only downside, if you cook there is nothing locally good to eat but won’t hold it against the area, just preference. People were great and coffee shops were great. "

"This house was advertised as being able to fit 8 people.
All 3 bedrooms had very worn out mattresses. The sleeper sofa was missing springs. Two of our family members had to sleep on the floor and an air mattress we purchased. There was not enough dinnerware and silverware for 8 people.
The bar stool (for extra seating ) was so wobbly that no body dared to use it for fear of breaking.
The deck would have been nice, if there was a dining table and four more chairs (there were 2 dining chairs...

I was looking for a place to stay in Chincoteague, Va. My youngest son and his wife were coming from Northern Virginia to meet me and my wife coming from Virginia Beach, Virginia. Our goal was to show my son's wife the wild ponies of Assateague Island. Also the statue of "Misty of Chincoteague" in the local park. Staying at the Fairfield Inn allowed us to get to the park area very quickly. On the last day of our stay we were able to see the ponies, take photos, and enjoy the park. We returned...
