"We absolutely loved our stay here. The best part other than our awesome view was the shower! I loved the water pressure. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. It was a 12 minute walk from Oita Station, and there was a Lawson around the corner. We also got free breakfast at the hotel and it was delicious. The room was spacious but the balcony was the star of the room. Would definitely stay here again."

"Our stay at Kamenoi Hotel Beppu was wonderful. The room was spacious and conveniently located near Beppu Station and bus stops, as well as a Lawsons right across the street. The onsite onsen was great as well. Very large with steam bath and open air options."

"Lovely stay at Yufuin. There is a free pick-up and drop-off options available from JR Yufuin Station which is a must unless you want to walk up crazy hills to get to the property. The room we stayed had traditional tatami mats and plenty of space to lounge around before enjoying hot springs. This property allowed us to book a private bath free of charge, and also the public bath that is open til late which was convenient. There is also free Japanese kimono that you can wear during your stay....

"The hotel itself is in a great location with amazing services and teams. The room we stayed in was nice and big and was restocked when needed. I definitely like that we need to take our shoes off at the entrance and the entire hotel is covered in tatami mats! My only issue is that this hotel is used by a lot of foreign tour groups who may not be the most polite people. We had lots of people push in queues for food or drinks, not clean properly before getting in the onsen, etc. so beware of...

"This hotel is right in front of the JR line, making it super convenient. There is also a bus stop right by the hotel, so you could still get anywhere you need to. This hotel has free breakfast and free drinks in the middle of the day, which includes alcohol. It also has a free hot spring bath on level 3 (not tattoo friendly) which is awesome. "5 mins walk from Oita station, with lots of dining option n shopping nearby. Hotel has good onsen, free nite noodles and stick ice cream. Staff is efficient n polite and breadfast, is of dormy standard. I would recommend highly"

"Best 3-star hotel I've stayed at in Japan and one of the best in the world. It's got at least 4-star vibes and amenities. Clean, comfortable rooms with nice views. But the real attraction is access to the rooftop onsen (gender separate) and pool (gender mixed) next door!"

"Everything was poor. For Japanese standar I felt like staff was tired or not happy doing their job. Checking time was 4 P.M. while in other hotels was 3 P.M. I arrived at 3:10 and they did not let me in. A lady was going to give the key but a young man told her that was not the time for checking in. I saw other people registering before 4 and letting them in, so I felt disappointed. The room was very small."

"2박 묵는동안 가족들 모두 편안하게 잘 지냈습니다. 일본어를 전혀 못해서 걱정했는데 리셉션에서 영어로 응대해주셔서 큰 어려움 없이 체크인 할 수 있었습니다.또한 따뜻한 온천탕에서 여행으로 쌓인 피로를 풀 수 있었습니다. 이용객이 많지 않아 저희 가족이 전세 낸 듯 사용할 수 있어 좋았습니다! 저희가족은 노천탕을 기대하고 갔는데 11월~4월까지는 노천탕 운영을 하지 않는다고 하여 이용은 못했습니다. 다음에 노천탕 이용위해서 또 바문 할 의향이 있습니다. 리조트 옆에 편의점이 있고 차로 5분거리에 큰 마트도 있어서 장보기에 편리했습니다. 또한 차로 30분정도 거리에 아프리칸 사파리와 벳푸 시내에 갈 수 있어 접근성이 좋았습니다."
