A stunning view of the Swiss Alps from the Bettmerhorn (2,858m), accessible by a cable car from the quaint town of Fiesch, and an hour or so hiking, including a 100m climb up a sketchy rock pile that essentially makes up the Bettmerhorn "peak." 

As sketchy as the final ascent may appear, I 100% recommend it. "We found this hotel via the app, and figured we’d take little detour to get there. This ”little detour” was half an hour on serpentine roads through a mostly uninhabited Italian landscape, and the inhabitated parts looking a little like the rural parts of Alabama. When we finally arrived in the little village, we got an eerie feeling of being on the set of ”Deliverance”. Do they even have electricity here? Did I hear a banjo playing from the woods? A stunning view of the Swiss Alps from the Bettmerhorn (2,858m), accessible by a cable car from the quaint town of Fiesch, and an hour or so hiking, including a 100m climb up a sketchy rock pile that essentially makes up the Bettmerhorn "peak." 

As sketchy as the final ascent may appear, I 100% recommend it. "Everything was great! This is my very favorite hotel. The room is clean and cozy with wonderful little touches like restocked drinks in the mini fridge and chocolates on the pillows. The breakfast is immense and delicious. The spa area is so beautiful and relaxing. They allow pets and parking is easy. Staff is friendly, the lounge seating is comfortable and spacious.
