"Room and overall hotel was clean, love the fact that you are able to regulate the temperature in the room. Breakfast was edible.Staff was helpful especially the receptionist Michael, 100%. There was at one point we were being racially profile, once we informed the manager she stated that she would deal with the situation. Have no idea of the outcome. We are not going to make that incident cloud our judgment. We/I will return. Wi-Fi signal was good."

"I was in Nottingham for just 16 hours and so I needed a hotel centrally located and “decent” which is why I chose a chain and the Regency BW Signature sounded very posh, however whilst the room and towels etc were clean, the floor I was on was under renovation and my biggest frustration was the shower. It was broken and was not fit for purpose. Which for over £100 should be standard. I reported the issue on checkout but I was offered nothing other than an apology and that it would be fixed for the next guest. "

"We weren't advised there was a pool, so we didn't get to use it. Staff were all lovely, especially receptionist who booked us in. But the second lift being out of order meant we had to wait for the lift when checking out. There was a chair in our room \[118\] that needed joints gluing and could have collapsed, and somewhere in the bathroom is leaking damp, resulting in a few harmless fruit flies and damagedbath panel and skirting. "Bathroom was poor with outdated bath and shower which was dangerous to use. The group booking for 9 people did not seem to exist. Very poor internal communication. The bedroom doors were not soft close and banged all night as people went to their rooms. We were refused entry to the dining area at 7.00 pm as we hadn't booked never having being informed of such a procedure at reception. Finally two days before we were due to arrive we were informed that our booking made on Jan 23rd nearly 2 months prior was cancelled due to overbooking!! After several phonecalls to the hotel we finally got our booking reinstated. What a stressful experience for an 82 year old alumni of the University attending our 63rd reunion (Rutherford Hall block 5 ,1963) "
