“The room was clean and there was coffee/tea making facilities which was brill as I do love my coffee. The room had a wall mounted T.V. The staff were absolutelly brilliant, helpfull and always smiling. Would definitely go back as the price was absolutely brilliant. The train station was so close if you wanted to go to cardiff, trains every 30 mins.”

“We stayed at the Bear Inn on 14th March 2026 for 2 nights. It is a very welcoming place. The atmosphere is very comforting and relaxed with helpul and friendly staff always willing to chat. In particular Hilary and Bayleigh were lovely and made our wedding anniversary special.”

“Extremely poor condition of the door to room 3, which was the room I was given on 11 March. My room was an external room of the Inn and therefore the security of the guest experience should be of a much higher level than if the guest was located within the actual main building. However, the door lock to my external room had clearly been breached with a screwdriver at some point in the past. Was this damage caused during a burglary, perhap?? It did not appear to be recent damage, as the exposed……
