“Upon entering this hotel, we were overwhelmed by the smell of mildew and cigarettes. After checking in, we went up to our room to find we were not in the correct room. We called down to the front desk and were told that our room had been given away and that was the room that they had for us. At this point, they did not offer to refund us any of the cost for our upgraded room. After arguing back-and-forth, they finally agreed to reduce the rate but did not have our room available as they have……

“Every single staff member I encountered (front desk, cleaning, bartender, coffee shop, etc.) ALL were fantastic, helpful, and kind. The room was great, the bed was comfortable, the pool was fun (albeit slightly colder water than I'd prefer, but still great), and the hot tub was perfect. It was all-around a wonderful hotel stay!”

“We had an amazing stay at Populus! We booked the Poplar Two Queen corner room, which was spacious and featured massive windows with an incredible view of the tower. Beyond the stunning biophilic design and the cool carbon-positive mission, the dining was a major highlight. The food at Pasque, the lobby restaurant, was absolutely excellent. The beds were super comfortable, the staff was welcoming, and the location is perfect. Will definitely stay here again!”
