“We often travel to Michigan to visit family and staying at St. John's Resort was on the wish list. This most recent visit we booked a couple nights of the trip. This particular weekend St. John's was dealing with two large wedding celebrations but staff were still available to us for questions. Their famous steakhouse was prohibitively expensive for us so we tried a small meal for brunch. The server was attentive to us and all the tables he was tending. The food was good but nothing……

“Great vibe!!! Loved the unique boutique feeling of this hotel. Location was so walkable to everything in downtown Detroit. Loved the bar that is attached to the hotel. Highly recommend this location.”

“A beautiful and historic property that is unique and special in every way. The staff were delightful, friendly, helpful and generous. The furnishings exquisite and well maintained. There was a clean atmosphere that was a surprise given the age of the hotel, and it’s in a city that has lots of humidity where you normally would find a moldy smell there was none! Much appreciated for someone who has allergies. I wish I didn’t have such a late check-in because I wasn’t able to appreciate all that……
