“On arrival we were warmly greeted and informed where breakfast would be served and explained where our room was. The room was huge in size, light, airy and tastefully decorated. The en-suite was a good size and cleaned to a high standard as was the room. Breakfasts were amazing, VERY generous portions and well cooked. The staff there were really great, nothing was too much trouble. They took time to cater for your needs. Very polite, professional and dedicated. The location of the hotel was……

“This was a beautiful and convienient place to stay. It was small, but had everything we needed. It was in a wonderful, walkable area right near the Old Course. There were also complimentary snacks when we arrived. Wonderful stay! We would definately stay again.”

“Stayed in 4 hotels during our journey around Scotland. This was the worst in terms of value for money. Also my bed was hard. We mentioned at booking that it was our anniversary, Yet given a room with two single beds. There is no front desk, you have to get to the bar to check in and get a key. But the bar is so full it’s hard to get near it.”

“My second time staying. This time the sweet had a beautiful expanded and modern kitchen. However, virtually no dishes, pots or pans and no cutlery. Needless to say it was a beautiful kitchen, but not as much use except to keep things in the fridge. Manager should at least add some cutlery.”

“The hotel is clean and quiet. Room is cozy and well decorated. However, it is a pity that there is no lift in the hotel, we had to carry luggages to the 1st floor. The restauant is great and the view is wonderful. ”

“lovely house, spotlessly clean, has everything you would need. perfectly situated for exploring the east neuk area. recommend dipping in the tidal pools and a visit to the harbour tearoom in crail for soup. cheesy toast shack also worth a visit. parking is not too far away but access is available for unloading/loading. ”

“Very pleased with property. Centrally located. Only negative was extremely heavy doors that did not stay open and banged shut quite forcefully. I have a young son and we were constantly anxious of fingers getting caught. Otherwise an excellent stay”
