"Nice hotel, very good location"
The hotel is nice and rooms are very spacious and clean. The location is great as its within walking distance to China world mall and kerry center. Its not easy to communicate with the staff which I think is an issue in Beijing but they are helpful once they know what is that you need. I recommend the hotel l, you get so much value compared to what you pay.

"Superb modern hotel, high standard "
Modern high standard of hotel. I stayed in a deluxe room which was big, with separate toilet to bathroom which had central bath and separate shower, and a changing room. Main area had a comfortable kingsize bed plus sofa and desk with chairs. All mod cons including electric curtains, and surround sound system in bathroom so you could watch TV from the bath! Clean and comfortable. There was a business suite and a spa, gym and pool, all looked good but didn't have time to try. Two restaurants, one serving mixture of Asian Western fusion, and the widest range of breakfast you could wish for, full Western or Chinese, all fresh, served from 6.30 til 11 (check in case that changes). Also a separate Cantonese dim sum restaurant. And a rooftop bar serving snacks. Good central location, about 5 minute walk from the Subway station, which is a few stops from the interchange to the Airport Express line, total journey under an hour. Forbidden City a few stops, 15 mins or so. Free Wi-Fi, good coverage, but bear in mind you can't get FB or Google inc maps and mail in Beijing without a VPN so if you're on Android, download the metro map and relevant stuff before you arrive. Minor negative was the concierge, who was not as up to speed as my app on the frequent improvements to the subway, so a recommended route was wrong, and also I asked for a taxi to a remote section of the Great Wall about 65 miles away, and best rate he would give was twice what I actually paid. Still overall excellent

"Great hotel with a great location"
We had a wonderful stay here - it did not disappoint at all. Clean, beautiful room (very comfortable pillows and fluffy new towels), large soaking tub, fantastic spa and pool, excellent breakfast buffet with large selection of Chinese and Western food. Shopping is very close by and Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City are just a few subway stops away. We ended up never taking a taxi because the subway was easy to use, clean, and safe. We even took it to go out to the Summer Palace. Besides breakfast, the only hotel restaurant we went to was the Portuguese Restaurant, and it was fantastic. The people at the front desk and at the concierge desk all spoke English and were very helpful. In fact, the whole staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Very good location for sightseeing and restaurants. While it bears a traditional Chinese design, it may need some renovation to compete with 5 stars hotels. Staff is not fluent in English, but trying to help. Good hotel. Good price.

"My Favorite - Beautiful Hotel"
I wish I could take this hotel with me everywhere I go. It was a perfect experience from start to finish. The staff gives you a personalized feel and are always helpful, polite and friendly without being overbearing, you feel genuine concern from them. They've thought of every detail, from a personalized ipad to massage chairs to little things like a notecard that has chinese symbols for the subway and the name of an attraction to show the taxi driver (believe me these come in handy when hailing a taxi cab somewhere in Forbidden City or Tiananmen Square and the driver does not speak a lick of english). When I did ask for directions, I got a very detailed explanation and the receptionist even took the time to look up the place in her laptop to show me exactly where to walk to. And they always call the cabs for us. They gave me and my husband drink vouchers for their superb George's Bar for the duration of our stay, which was three nights. They have a high quality breakfast buffet and afternoon tea with delectable candies and pastries all with compliments. So, there's certainly value as well. The place itself is magical. Filled with interesting and aesthetically pleasing art and knickknacks. It is adjacent to a really high end mall that has everything from couture to salons to first class restaurants to a food court and a grocery store. It has everything. I have to give a shoutout to their Toto washlet which is a marvel. It is life-changing. Lastly, if you take the elevator d

"Highly Recommended"
Great stay for 2 nights. The only item needing attention is the staffing level at the buffet breakfast. Although the staff were doing their best, there were too few staff to keep up with the coffee/tea requests, and no self-serve station. Lounge and Front Desk staff were excellent as well.

"Excellent except for one thing"
The staff are very friendly and helpful. Concierge was very good when I required direction and assistance - English perfectly sound. The hotel common areas are good. The quality of food and drinks was a bit hit and miss but overall decent. The location of the hotel is well suited for tourist sites, shopping centre and heading out to Sanlitun. The only downside was when I arrived I was given a room on the 19th (Top) floor and whilst it was a great room with a view it was very hot - ie. air conditioning not working properly. I raised this with front desk and they said they would send someone to check it out. That didn't happen. Anyway I coped for the first night. I was out all day the following day and the second night was unbearably hot. I complained during the middle of the night and said I would be requesting a change of room as I had a further 4 nights. The manager was very nice in the morning. She changed me to an Executive room which was great (however it was actually very cold) and I asked her to comp me for the previous nights. She would not do that but she did give me complimentary breakfast and access to the executive floor with free drinks and food at certain times of the day/evening. The executive lounge quality of food is much better than executive lounges at other 5 star hotels I've stayed at. So overall, I would recommend the hotel as it is decent value for the overall quality but they clearly have an issue with air conditioning that needs to be addressed.
