“The apartment is set in a small two story block, well appointed with balcony views over the lake. We didn't use the facilities as we were visiting places of interest and enjoying good food restaurants in the area. Would go back again”

“This was the culmination of a self-promise made 11 years ago. Then, we had afternoon tea on the patio, but can’t remember how we discovered Portloe. We said we should stay here if we ever visit Cornwall again. Fast forward to now; an unexpected opportunity to re-visit Cornwall. And it came to pass. Our stay did not disappoint- the quirky corridors to our room, the spectacular views from the windows, the bright and airy restaurant and the opportunity (again) to observe a lone fisherman working on……

“Our room has the best view looking out to the beautiful Gyllngvase Beach and it is just around 8 mins walk to it. Nice breakfast and staff, room is clean and have everything you need. Town centre is also within walking distance.”

“A BEAUTIFUL hotel. We stayed as part of a larger tour of Cornwall and our stay here was leaps and bounds above the rest. So many nice touches a arrival treat, hot chocolate and journey home treats!!
Staff are wonderful and the room is WONDERFUL!!!!”
