The host, Andrea, was absolutely amazing. The location is a perfect centre location for NE Scotland. The pod was a home away from home complete highland coos right at the door step. The night skys were open and magical.

This place is special. It's like checking into a royal house and getting the royal experience for a couple of days.
The house itself gives you a very warm feeling, and dinner experience was very fancy, following all the rules. They also have a great collection of whiskeys.
All in all, we loved living the dream.

From the extremely helpful and friendly staff, to the incredible breakfasts included with our room and the excellent dinners we purchased in the evenings, to the superb communication by hotel staff, and the clean and comfortable rooms…I will certainly be back in the future. Above all else was the hospitality of the staff: although they have an 11:00PM cut off time for checking in, when I found out that I would not arrive until 1:00AM because my flight was cancelled and I was put on a flight 5 hours later, I e-mailed them and they immediately agreed to take me in. When I arrived the door was open, the key was hanging on a hook at the desk and all was right in my world. That is really service in my book.
PS: breakfast was wonderful.

Good old-style hotel, very pleasant. Slept well, the family room was decent and quiet. Breakfast good, just a bit of bad luck as two tour groups flooded the room same time as us. Location very central, and we had no issue to park right in front.
