"This hotel seems to be primarily for hosting corporate events. Not recommended for a leisure trip to Shaoxing, as it's located an hour's drive away in a far away district Shangyu. Undeveloped land next to it. Impressive lobby, but standard rooms are mediocre. Furniture looking old despite this being a new hotel. Nice view of the river from the rooms. "Nice surroundings but the villa is very cold in winter. We stayed a night in the winter. The villa was extremely cold. We called the front desk; a technician came to check and admit AC is not strong enough and would get a heater for us. But the heater never came and we had to call front desk again for a quilt. Avoid the villas in winters."
