“We stayed in a cabin so my comments only apply to our experience there., The property is very pretty, there is a pond or two, a shuffleboard course, a mini golf course and a playground or two. There was a pool but it was closed when we were there (late Sept). The two small issues that I would bring up are 1) the showers seem to be either completely hot or cold but nothing in between and 2) mattresses in the cabins are a bit stiff. Not a problem for us but it may be for others. ”

“We stayed here for Bucknell Parent's Weekend with our three younger children and one friend (ages 9-17). The home is spacious and clean and is located directly across from the main campground hall and office. It is between a 15-20 minute drive to Bucknell - on local roads. The house has the basics, including linens, which was a nice bonus for a short weekend stay. The owner/manager was communicative and helpful. ”

“Everything was perfect for our stay. Communication with the host was great! Felt welcome before we got there based on our communication. I was visiting my kid (who lives in a studio apt in lewisburg ) with my whole family in tow so I wanted a more family type stay then a hotel just for the night so we could have a game night, and just enjoy each others company after the city closed. “The house was clean and had just about everything you need for an extended stay. I was only there in the evenings but it was warm and inviting when I returned from the Deer woods every day. Having the whole house and appliances was great but if you need to prep any meals, you will need to bring a sharp knife for chopping and slicing meats or vegetables. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable and the second bedroom has a bunk bed that I didn't use. The basement room off of the laundry room……

“Great location close to everything! You are able to walk the downtown and the river very easily. The apartment had everything we needed. The host was very communicative and the check in instructions were easy. The building is a little older and doesn’t retain heat as well so make sure you bring warmer clothes for a winter stay. “We visited Mifflinburg for the annual Christkindl Market. This home was perfectly located just a few blocks away from the festivities. The home was nicely decorated for Christmas and we enjoyed the baked good treats left by the host. We also appreciated the parking. Our hosts were very responsive to our inquiries. Highly recommend! ”

“I love the mountain view, and the location. We enjoyed hiking the Bells Majestic view, toured Penn's Cave and enjoyed local restaurants. The house was clean and decor fit yhe cabin vibe.It was nice and cozy. I specifically enjoyed all the amenities. We had access to cups, plates and dishes ( we made sure to washed them before leaving).In the Bathroom we had everything we needed toiletries soaps etcs. We brought our own stuff as we didn't think it included it but its a nice thing to have. The……
